Also the ending staying the same makes little sense. Seeing how powerful Leviathans are it seems you would win conventially. Just my observation from the DLC. Just give it up Dues EX/ware you will never win an academy award for your writing prowess.

Anybody else liked Edi's gag about a multiplayer character whose sync-kills are described by players as "overpowered" ;)

I agree with what Garrus said after the mission.

''It didn't change very much, but it makes the war much more bigger'' refering that the Leviathans now part of the war too.

Also the Leviathans said that the Catalyst will not rest before he gets what he was after. Anyone here knows what that means?

Maybe there is still hope for a bigger and better ending.

Nope,no new endings-artistic integrety :(

Of course this entire narrative is inconsistent with the nature of the Reapers in ME1 and ME2. In both, Harbinger delighted in causing you pain and taunted you. It was invested in your destruction and malevolent. Now we are supposed to think they are just galactic street sweepers working dispassionately at the behest of some misguided, twisted AI.

How ridiculous.

Bullseye, my friend!
That narrative incosistence and the unprecedented  and complete degradation of the major rival of the protagonist which in ME1 & ME2 was Harbinger is for me the biggest flaw of ME3.
And it is one of the main reasons why the endings made such a negative (too put it midely) impact to the majority of the gamers. Especially to those, like myself, who appreciate a good storyline as much as the gameplay itself.
And the storyline of ME1 could easily be considered a mastrerpiece of fiction.

I liked the DLC but it told me nothing new.
It was already known that the AI is controlling the Reapers and the rest was a solid theory in my head.

I liked it. A good origin story for the reapers and it made me re-think the choice I made at the end.

Its lenght, quality was not worth the 10$ but it was not that bad either. 3 out of 5. Meh. I think i avoid paid future dlcs in the future. At least this one has a small connection to the ending but for example a rumoured omega dlc will add nothing just some useless war assets lol.

Are you supposed toone able to go back to Dr. Bryson's office after Leviathan? There's a "hidden" option at the cabs, but it just leads to a loading screen. Is that when you retrieve the husk head?

You get the head when you first meet Ann there and James is standing next to the head. You have to keep talking to Vega until the option to select the head appears again, and you will get the choice to bring it with you or leave it.

Ok is that head purely synthetic or does it have organic meat hanging off of it or inside the cranium.  I mean does it smell?

It smells like the endings.

Now this is a groundless assumption. Leviathans may be powerfull but I doubt they are great in numbers. if there are truly many leviathans, the reapers could not dominate in all those cycles.

Haven't gotten that far but the Lochness monster thing was funny. I just left the lab so I'm not that far into it yet.

Did anyone else get some Shadow War vibes (a la Babylon 5) from the DLC? Anyway, I enjoyed it, would have liked to learn more but that's a given, already knew it was going to be more questions and speculations. True closure is still ages away, if it exists at all. Some nice touches with the squad banter, LI, and the new characters were fantastic despite their short screen time.

dont like the conversation option that refers to the catalyst "the inteligence", the so called harvest

Better to say that Harbinger was the start to all of it. viewing organic life as vermin,

My favourite DLC so far, but I'm worried they are taking the ME universe "scale" a little too far, they should be careful...

I think the big bit of information gleaned from Leviathan though is that the cycle ends with a singular Reaper being constructed.

They can't replenish their numbers.

It provided nothing new apart from some new levels to shoot up reapers. It "revealed" the origin of the reapers, which we already knew thanks to the Extended Cut, and provided no new additions to the mythology. Granted it was fun at times, but felt very empty. In the end, I paid 800 microsoft points for some new guns and a new war asset. I am disappoint...

I agree. Do the Leviathan's just stay in the Ocean and attack any Reaper that attacks it? Doesn't make sense since they now choose to contribute to the war.

"You are vermin" -- Harbinger

I remember bioware said that the reapers think nothing of us, that we're "only fuel" for them. Apparently... They lied. Let me just add that to the pile of lies they already told *tosses it onto the mountain*
