Let me guess.... no boss battle and recycled enemies from the main story.
I wasn't expecting neither a boss battle nor new enemies. This isn't a new game, this is a DLC for an existing game. And it's not our, or Bioware's fault that you don't consider crescendo events as 'boss battles'.

...you mean that crescendo event that, on insanity, i spent the entire time running around cloaked, not getting shot at, not shooting anything and leaisurely strolling up to the missiles and pressing A to win the game?
Yeah....crescendo....

Yeah....crescendo....
You do realise not everyone plays an Infiltrator, right? And who said anything about the game's ending, anyway? I was referring to the DLC.

Someone tell me the story of the DLC and post a picture of Leviathan!
I hope the Leviathan's original form looks like Cthulhu. It'd be nice to return to ME1's roots once more.

Crescendo Events, implying that there are more than one of them in the entire game. And considering the fact that we're talking about the lack of boss battles and that was arguably one of those "events" by your definition, it applys.
The mere fact that you can dilute the final battle sequence to the point where you think "is that it?" specifically by choosing a certain class removes any intended significance.
A boss battle works with every class.

How would have a boss battle been easier with an Infiltrator as opposed to a crescendo event? Infiltrator is plain and simply the most overpowered class in the single-player game.
"A boss battle works with every class." is what you added afterwards. I really think not. If anything, a crescendo event would be more balanced towards all classes than a boss battle. Ever played borderlands?

Me too. The sense of wonder really was diluted from game to game

...it wouldn't have been, thats my point. Never had a chance to use the cloak in ME2's battles, and they were at times somewhat difficult.

Sorry, I misworded there. What I meant is, how would an Infiltrator have it hard at a boss battle, as opposed to a crescendo event? Also, refer to my edit.
And about ME2. Well, now, ME3 infiltrator isn't ME2's, is it?

^ That's the opening of it. Doesn't reveal much that we don't already know.
The datapad should be a selectable weapon in missions.
