So...if it is just that easy for the Leviathons to deal with Reapers that they merely have to think bad thoughts at them, HOW DID THEY GET DEFEATED AND FORCED INTO HIDING IN THE FIRST PLACE?! What's more, they were THE slavemasters of their time. All the other races were their slaves and worshipers. All the Leviathons had to do was forbid the creation of AIs by their chattel races and the (silly and bogus) "AIs will always turn on their creators" nonsense goes away. Even if it didn't, all the Leviathons need to do to crush these amok AIs is think bad thoughts at them.

They have had a few million years to enslave thralls to engage in scientific research to figure out ways of defeating the Reapers, and the Reaper did come to their planet where they had installed a safety net to EMP any ship getting too close.   The blast probably has a timer so all it would take for the Reapers to kill the Leviathans is send a few dreadnoughts and destroyers to overwhelm the EMP and kill them under water.  Or even just nuke the planet safely from orbit.

This isn't hard.

As to the point of the thralls, it isn't clear how tight of a control the Leviathans held over the large populations.  They might not have had as tight control as they did over the mining colonies so that many could worship them without mind control.  You know, enthrall a few highers up, and then subtely control and influence organic civilization.  Then when they build AI, the Leviathans didn't recognize it as a threat until it was too late and a bunch of their thralls were dead.  The Leviathans then wanted to solve this problem because it was annoying, and built an AI capable of actually defeating them.  The way they describe the AI killing their thralls makes it sound like an annoyance rather than an actual existential threat to them (at least before the Repaers).  Hubris was their downfall.

I didn't like that you go through all that for a 5 minute chat and never see them again. Shepard says at the end that they are apart of the war now but we don't see it and they make no difference.
I'm also not keen on them being the possible threat next time seeing as its just the Reapers in a different skin.

Cthuhlu monsters create Skynet, hilarity ensues. I would of loved to have seen a Levithulu tear up a Reaper or even some Levithulus on Reaper action over priority Earth. Well, maybe for the next DLC or something.

It's amazing to me that Leviathian seems to have been made with the intent of making the ending of the game make more sense, and yet it actually introduces even more problems.

Justify the Catalyst's logic by attempting to show that the problem he trying to solve is an actual problem! Yeah retroactive justification! <_<

I love how the Catalyst tries to fix a problem before it happens.

It's like "Hey, I'm gonna send you to an asylum because you might be mentally unstable."

Who are the creatures on the wall in the Dr. office? There is some alien that I have never seen before but shows up next to the cave painting.

I think I am going to just waste no money and watch the clips on youtube for any more DLC. I am not sure where this franchise is going, if it goes any further past the multiplayer. Which I must admit has surprised me these past few months.
