If sales of the Leviathan DLC are disappointing, I fear that EA will misinterpret the reason for it. Many people here have said they will not buy it, usually because they think it won't change the endings or to send a message of disappoint to Bioware/EA over the endings to begin with. However, EA might look at the low sales numbers and think "That proves it! Single-player is out! Make everything multi-player from now on!" There've been many cases where publishers/developers see a declining video game franchise and try to reinvigorate it in ways that completely miss the reason it was declining. I fear the same may happen to ME if DLC sales drastically decline.

well then maybe EA/Bioware can dish out better endings next time instead of hiding behind space magic and artistic integrity.

I don't care what conclusion they draw. ME3 was my last foray into this territory anyway.

We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They turn ME into a shooter and we fall back, they throw entire plot lines out the window and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no farther! And I will make them pay for what they've done!

At least Picard killed the irrtitating bad-guy spoiling character.

Fear is a bad motivator. If people don't want to buy dlc it is well within their right. On the other hand you can buy it multiple times if you are that concerned.

Yo dawgs, I heard you thought BW screwed up Mass Effect with ME3, so you better buy this DLC that screws it up even more... or BW might stop releasing DLC that screws up Mass Effect for good.

Yep, just look what EA did to Dead Space 3. They added $%*&ing co-op.

I like it and you can play by yourself too.

Not entirely so, OP. SP as of now only has 3 DLCs. Two of which I don't pay a lot of attention to. If anything, I see Omega, but other than that, I have no clue.

EA can do as they please. I'm still not going to buy anymore of their god awful games. I'm not going to buy or avoid buying something to try and shape a massive corporation's product trends. I'm going to buy it based on it being worth the cost. Unfortunately for EA 95% of their games are worth less than toilet paper (as demonstrated by Mass Effect 3).

I don't care. If EA makes a wrong decision for my interests, I will not cave in and buy their product in a hope to prevent it, even if I don't like the product.

The only reason MP DLC does so well is because it's mostly free. Start charging and it'll decrease.

Do not care exactly, I did not buy the DLC and get rid of ME3 (free giveaway, along with all my EA games, few month ago ...) So there won't be any future ME SP DLC nor MP(just kept ME1, ME2 AND DA1)

Spec ops: the Line guy says stuck on multiplayer is a "cancerous growth" and shouldn't have been added to his game.

Bioware this is how you address your bosses, grow a pair.

Supporting quality products provides positive psychological reinforcement to those that release quality games. When the quality is not there, however, I am not going to continue to provide positive reinforcement that tells them it's ok to release sub par content. Regardless of how they react, it is within my right to not provide financial support as this is my hard earned money and the competition out there offers better games.

As someone said, if I continue to support them, I am just buying products that I don't like. It is better that a company not make products at all then create sub par products that they refuse to improve upon. Only when I see a respectable improvement will they have my money. ME3 was not worthy of the Bioware brand. They could have and should have done much better.

You have to invest in your games and in the wishes of your fans. If you don't and you let greed rule you, then your company will fail eventually. It is inevitable.

ME3 was a good game. ME3 had the worst ending I've seen in a long time. The two statetments are not in argument with each other, but they provide context.

If ME3 had a decent ending, I'd have bought Leviathan, despite criticism of my intellect. If BW and EA thinks I didn't buy the DLC because I wasn't "taught how to write" in school, then they may take their opinion and walk away without my money. Insults generally don't encourage customers.

I bought groceries with my $10 and watched the DLC on Youtube. If ME3 had had a decent ending I would have bought the DLC, but they left Shepard laying in a pile of garbage. Today, a Bioware community rep tweeted again that there is going to be no change in that scene. So Bioware can still head canon my money until they decide to write a complete ending to the game. They can head canon money for DA3 as well. ME3 is dead to me, but it won't stop me from condemning the ending.

heh I have already made up my mind. Unless the DLC allows shepard to live and a reunion is added then I will not buy anymore DLC.
I have seen all the endings and none of them are good or bad. they are just terrible.

I'm not buying the Leviathan DLC because of the From Ashes DLC. It was a waste of my time and $ and for that someone has to pay....

Yeah, don't have enough interest to care about if they go full MP.

Honestly I don't think they will even try the MP, since package sales for real money is underperforming there too.

I won't let fear compromise who I am, I will not pay for a mediocre effort when BioWare continues to ignore their real failures in this game.

Strange, nothing that you do affects the ending(A,B,C)and they won't change the ending. But every new mission gives you points to add to your total.
