So, we should bow low an accept the insane options given to us by an evil overlord that is incapable of thinking straight? Are we talking about EA or did I fall back into the ending of Mass Effect 3? <_<

Yep, just look what EA did to Dead Space 3. They added $%*&ing co-op.

:sigh: seriously you do realize its drop in drop out right? i take it you never played such a title and besides even if i myself think co-op is a bad idea i think dead space 3 is probably the best game to honestly have it in

I think some people are even more fed up with multiplayer's RNG and other cheap mechanics than the ME3 ending. Personally multiplayer is a close second, but it's still on the list.

I'm gonna buy every download they make for ME3 just to spite the haters they say they don't care but deep inside it eats them up.

They already did that despite how well Dead Space 2 (a total SP game) sold. I think it's safe to say they're gonna do that to Mass Effect regardless.

Mass Effect was doomed the moment EA took control of Bioware. As far as i'm concerned the franchise is already ruined. So if it gets ruined even further or worse, then oh well. Best to put a bullet in it's head sooner than later, instead of prolonging it's suffering.

multiplayer was a dumb idea from the get go.
mass effect did fine without multiplayer. i wish it never happened

You vote with your wallet. If EA/Bioware can't look at what their fans are saying, and then look at low sales, and interpret it the right way, then there is absoloutely no reason to have any faith in them delivering later.

Buying something bad just because it might mean we get something good is almost always insane. That's not how it works.

People should spend money on whatever they want to spend money on. I bought the DLC and enjoyed it. If others don't want to buy it that doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's Your wallet.

OP, stop taking Jim's opinions with a handful of salt.

EA is already abandoning the singleplayer and are in fact investing in MMO type games.

I doubt the small minority of teenages and 30 year olds who still live with their parents that cant afford $10, will make a difference to the total leviathan sales.

I would like to see the evidence backing up your assertions. Considering it was lack of sales which killed DA2s DLC releases, that must mean there are a lot of teenagers and 30 years olds who still live with their parents in the world, huh? And why so bitter, do you have shares riding on ME3s DLC success?

So be it lol

I don't want more endgame nonsense, they screwed up too much. But dish out Omega DLC (with enough screentime for Aria) and I'll buy it.

Yep give me an Omega DLC where there's potential to side with Aria or side with Petrovsky. Sprinkle in some content for underused ME2 squaddies. Serve it up and i'll scoff it down.

If sales of the Leviathan DLC are disappointing, I fear that EA will misinterpret the reason for it. Many people here have said they will not buy it, usually because they think it won't change the endings or to send a message of disappoint to Bioware/EA over the endings to begin with. However, EA might look at the low sales numbers and think "That proves it! Single-player is out! Make everything multi-player from now on!" There've been many cases where publishers/developers see a declining video game franchise and try to reinvigorate it in ways that completely miss the reason it was declining. I fear the same may happen to ME if DLC sales drastically decline.

That's reasonable concern when its DLCs are less of a success. As a customer that's not my concern, though. I'll buy the products that I think are worth my money. This time I have invested in the story for several years now. I like to see how it ends and thus I am likely to buy some ME3 DLCs. But to me it ends after ME3, because it appears that BW already thinks SP is dead and MP is the way to. I may change my mind when ME4 proves to be a great SP game with a superb story and a world in which I can drown. I couldn't care less about its MP component.

Sorry, but I'm not going to buy something I have no interest in for the sake of trying to temper EA's rampant stupidity.

I have stop giving a **** what EA will do with Bioware, in fact if they fired everyone in the company and closed it right now I would be happy since they wouldn't be able to further ruin the game universes

I don't enjoy what Mass Effect has become, so what makes you think I should buy more of what I already don't enjoy, to try to dissuade EA from ruining it even more? Do you think BiowareEA is the only RPG maker, with the only paid DLC on the market right now? Screw that; I'll take my business elsewhere, and the people who are still attached to Bioware, and are afraid of the impact this will have on 'their' favorite franchise and developer, will just have to deal with it.

This was Bioware's mistake. I'm sorry, but pointing the finger at fans who refuse to support Bioware's new direction (their recent business and design decisions) with our wallets, is just insane BS. If EA's product research is so damned poor that they completely miss the reason behind ME3's drop in DLC sales (if indeed there is a drop), I won't be wasting my time and money trying to throw them free hints and advice. $10 would be much better spent on Kickstarter or the XBLA imho; EA definitely doesn't deserve it, that's for damn sure.

How long does it normally take for DLC to be discounted? If I can get all the DLC for under $10, I'll probably come back to this game. I recently started an ME playthru with FemShep just so I can see what all the fuss about Jennifer Hale is about. So I should be ready to play ME3 in about 6 months or so...

They already had Leviathan done back in February *wink*

EA won't last much longer anyways, going to be bought sooner or later. Bioware will eventually be broken up from my guess. Others will take them IP's thank you very much.
