Vote ME3 as the 'Ultimate GotY' in the Golden Joystick awards? I think not.

Ultimate GOTY somehow doesn't have The Witcher 2 (but inexplicably there's Star Wars TOR...), so I voted for Batman AC.

Sorry Bioware: ME3 had the chance to be GOTY but you seriously messed it. The main problem is not just the ending. The main problem is your reaction, your ignorant "artistic integrity" response. You lost your connection with your gamers.

It is by far the buggiest game that Bioware have released in recent years.
Bioware, as much as some people deny it, partitioned out and disc locked Story Critical Content for Day One DLC.
The game itself does not have an introduction, or rather the introduction section its the most useless pointless section of the game, and of any bioware game ever IMO. It is basically one long uinformative cutscene.
Then there is the journal, or lack thereof. The journal in ME1, ME2, DAO, and DA2 all had use. It's late at night you are tired so you go to bed, next day you get home from work or whatever n play ME3 again and think to urself "what was I doing last nite again?" well you are buggerred for figuring that out because ME3's crap journal won't tell you!
I was going to start this very thread yesterday but felt that maybe I was rolling on the 'Negative' train a bit too long and I need to be a bit more positive in my life. The above, however, points out so well just how small things can drive a game player nuts.
And I've been saying since the demo that the intro was bad. Cause it is. Story-wise, game-wise, Mass Effect-wise.

Either way, Batman: Arkham City get my vote. Skyrim was also a fun ride but got pretty bored befor i got to the end.
Kinda sad too see The Witcher 2 not in there tho. Oh well.

Some people won't vote for it because it was a mainstream RPG and some nerds hate that, but it should get everybody elses vote.
The Witcher 2 felt too cheap. Like some guys that really love RPGs got together and built something that could have been amazing if they had money; but they just didn't sadly. Hopefully it will be different for The Witcher 3 now that they've expanded.
Arkham, ha. No button mashing game should ever win a GOTY.

Personally, I voted for the crappy games that I know won't get any votes (like Rage for best shooter) just because I don't want them to feel lonely and that nobody likes them. Self esteem is very important in a video game, I think.

Also I'm glad The Walking Dead was there. Great downloadable game.

Plus I find all the Skyrim love rather amusing...I really didn't enjoy that game at all. Ah well.
