I voted for Witcher 2
Vote ME3 as the 'Ultimate GotY' in the Golden Joystick awards? I think not.

I voted for Mass Effect in all relevant categories. Why? Because despite being "flawed" it's also the game I'm still continuing to play and getting me to go back to Mass Effect 2 (PS3 player) to try different things. Skyrim was great but Bethesda aren't high on my list because of how buggy their games are and the delay in getting DLC that make the games more buggy anyway.

Voted for Witcher 2, and Batman AC, also The Walking Dead and BF3 & Sleeping Dogs.
^ ME3 is also buggy game (especially in MP) so Bethesda is not that far away ;-p

Skyrim lost my attention after a month. It was fun and all, but got repetitive after the main questlines. Don't even get me started on that piece of s*** Dawnguard DLC.
ME3 deserves it more than anything else on there, but I agree that it had it's flaws. It's about an 8/10 game for me (with Extended Cut, of course).

If Arkham City wins GOTY, I will be very happy.
If ME3 wins it, then it's time to commit sepukku.

I didn't know about this until now; voted for ME3.
Honestly, I freaking loved Skyrim and Diablo 3, but ME3 really just left more of an impression than the others did. It's close, but ME3 ekes out the victory.

Hadn't played Batman, but from personal experience I'd say ME3 deserves a nomination but Skyrim will have to be my GotY. Skyrim so far only has 1 DLC and it's amazing, really changes the gameplay as it can be played anytime and actually has consequences in the land of Skyrim.
I won't rant about ME3's original endings, but the game is flawed with alot, no game is perfect but I expected a tad more. But by no means is ME3 a horrible game, it was a truly emotional thrill ride, one of the best game I have ever played and by far the Titanic of Video Games for me.
It's hard to compare, I mean Fantasy and Sci-fi, the basis of most fights in our gaming world, yet I'd say Skyrim will have to keep it's place at the top for my GotY for this year.

Vote for Arkham City people!
ME3 is good but not GOTY material and Skyrim is a broken overrated ****ing joke of a hiking sim unless you run about 5 Gigs of Mods.
Seriously... I wish people looked at that game with the same level of criticism as ME3.

ME3 cannot overcome the ending controversy to garner many (possibly any) GotY awards. It will receive nominations, because all those gaming sites that gave it those undeserved "perfect" scores have to justify that fallacy to the end, but I'd be truly surprised to see ME3 win more than a couple awards at most.

voted for Skyrim. Atleast it was less nut kicking and more arrow to the knee.

Is Dragons Dogma up or was it last year? That one made my jaw drop in many aspects which is a rarity. While Mass Effect has always been one of my top fav games they really blew it with the ending in the eyes of most players and now they will suffer for it. It was bound to happen with such a devoted fan base to Shepard and Mass Effect i am surprised they chose that defeatist avenue as an ending given the long journey we have all been on i really was.
Skyrim started out bad (with its countless glitches and lag issues) but they took the time to fix most of them and it really paid off in my eyes as i have nothing bad to say about it. (besides the fact we can't ride Odahviing -.-) I am still yet to play AC3 so i will reserve my judgement on the best game this year until i do. Black ops 2 with 4 vs 4 zombies sounds exciting aswell though i am not really a fan of player vs player multi's expecially shooters.

I'll vote for ME3 when I get an ending that doesn't give me extreme apathy towards it.
Not going to happen, so it's Arkham City all the way.

Skyrim is a crappy game, unless it is modded. Crappy graphics, crappy combat, crappy mainquest ending and crappy everything. The game is more overrated then Bioshock.
Best fighter for me apart from TTT2 is MK9.
The ultimate GoTY selection is horrible. I would give it to Journey even though I haven't seen it being played or even played it, but I have heard that the indie devs put their heart and soul into it.

I voted for Skyrim (I know it's not perfect) but ME3 is no game of the year imo.

Yeah no ME3 hasn't really got anything at all to warrant Game of the Year for me.
I've only had Fall of Cybertron for like 2 weeks and it's still far more worthy of a GOTY, since I actually enjoy it a lot more and it's ending doesn't invalidate War for Cybertron.
Meanwhile ME3: "LOL YOUR CHOICES MATTER" *they don't*
