Summary: Play it, you won't regret it.

Easily hits the level of depth, atmosphere, and story that we all fell in love with in Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker.  The squad members all have full voice work done, much in the vein of Dragon Age 2 DLC, including dialogue between missions back on the Normandy.  The level of emotional depth is a bit shallow (for me at least) despite certain scenes attempting to tug at your heart strings, but I would recommend bringing your LI along for the ride on each of the missions, if only the final one, if emotion is what you're looking for.

Added:
War Assets
5 New Mods
2 Weapons (1 pre-order bonus & 1 pc exclusive pre-order bonus)
1 New Bonus Power
1 Fun New Cabin Decoration

Edit: Forgot to include the souvenier :D

What's the difficulty level? Is it more challenging or on the same level as most missions in the main game?

I was playing on the lowest difficulty setting, but from what I saw, I'd say two of the missions would be more challenging, as the situation can easily turn into shepard getting mobbed by Reaper forces.

Are the new romance scenes just tied to the ME3 cast or do they include ME2 romances as well?

Haven't tested it, but from what I saw, no

I only tried the lowest difficulty in the demo and I could one shot everything with zero effort. So I'll assume by lowest you don't actually mean Narrative.

That's a shame, was hoping they were going to throw in one of the weapon mods that got pulled just before Earth came out.

No, I meant narrative, but from what I saw on the 2nd and 3rd mission, and from what I remember of my insanity playthrough, I could easily see people getting mobbed by Reaper forces.

After they patch those into multiplayer, I could see them being added into single player via the Retake Omega DLC.  Besides, they already spread out 15 weapon mods across the levels, any more and Shepard would've been tripping over them.

The difficulty is more of the same (played on Insanity), but the actual layout of battle is unique. You play different variations of the multiplayer objectives to spice things up, rather than just killing everything in one area, moving onto the next, rinse and repeat.

From a gameplay/combat perspective, this is probably the single best DLC in the Mass Effect series. And as the OP mentioned, it's got regular campaign quality voice work. It's just that the story itself is eh without spoiling anything, and some of the action sequences/animations are definitely "DLC quality".

A few questions, just out of curiosity:

1) Roughly how much combat is there vs. dialogue?
2) Are there many dialogue choices at all, or is it usually only two?
3) Autodialogue: How much? Roughly the same as vanilla ME3, or less?
4) Are there any actual choices in this DLC at all that change anything?
5) Are there multiple paths or ways of doing the content?

What is the souvenir? I deleted the file save I did mind under. Was it just one of the artifacts Leviathan used? Or what?

If this is a thread to be a "No Spoilers", then it needs to go under the "No Spoilers" section.

It was. Looks like somebody moved it without explanation to the "Story and Campaign Discussion" area.

1) Lots of dialogue/cutscenes/exploration. A good mix where you don't feel like you're doing one thing for too long.

2) Choices in dialogue seem mostly superficial. Either Shepard is lighthearted or kinda mean, and then something happens.

3) Pretty much same as vanilla.

4) Not that I noticed, but I only played through once. There are renegade and paragon interrupts that you can choose to do/not do, but if there is anything that branches, it's minor.

5) Not entirely sure what you mean by that question, but not really. It's pretty straight forward. Though, there are parts where you go clue-searching, and it's possible for something to change if you choose to leave before finding all the clues you need, since it gives you that option. But... why would you? Maybe I'll try that with my other Shepard, just to see if things change.
