Worth noting, though: I do support having a list of locations for the new mods. I plan on going through the DLC again, so I'll make notes on what I find and where when I do.

You do that. I found two of the mods I was missing; the Assault Rifle Omni-Blade V can be found on the Citadel, at Aeghor Munitions (or Cipritine Armory; one of those two) after aquiring the AR Omni-Blade IV from Batarian State Arms. The Pistol UL Material IV I found sitting on one of the struts out near the edge of the water on that last level, right before you jump to the platform with the Triton mech. I still haven't found the UL Materials V; I can only assume I missed it in one of the earlier missions.

Dr Bryson's Lab
* Pistol Cranial Trauma System I - Outside on a stack of trash just outside the part of the lab with the Galaxy Map.
* SMG High Velocity Barrel I - Outside next to a stack of trash near the aircar.
* Pistol Ultralight Materials I - Outside behind a tree outside the living quarters of the lab.
* SMG Mass Pulse Recoil System I - Inside on a shelf next to the rocks.
T-GES Mineral Works
* SMG High Velocity Barrel II - As you wander through the Mineral Labs, you'll enter a room with a holographic display. As you enter, miners will shut it off, and there will be an error signal (triangle inside a circle). Bypass the door on the lower level and you'll find this inside on a crate to your left.
* Pistol Ultralight Materials II - Next to the entrance to the Medical Wing is a security station. On a chair inside is a datapad with a Personnel ID. Once you've read the datapad, head to the secured door at the beginning of the second floor (head straight forward from the elevator, through the door, and the secured door is on your left). The Personnel ID will get you in, where you will find this on a counter.
*SMG Mass Pulse Recoil System II - After climbing the ladder to head to the mines, jump across the gap, head to the Thermal Clips lying on the ground, then head all the way right. You'll find this on the rail at the far end of the path.
* Pistol Cranial Trauma System II - Near the door into the mines. When facing the door, turn right, head to the corner, then turn right again. This mod is on a crate in the left corner of this dead end.
Dr Bryson's Lab 2
* Assault Rifle Omni-Blade I - In the Requisitions Locker. Not accessible until this mission.
Dig Site
* SMG High Velocity Barrel III - In the building next to the AT-12 Raider shotgun. Far end on the left, next to a table with a Thermal Clip on it.

EDIT: It will be longer than a minute. For whatever reason, I can't save in the middle of the second mission.
EDIT 2.0: Mods can be bought before starting the DLC. You can get:
Pistol Ultralight Materials I
Pistol Cranial Trauma System II
SMG Recoil System II
SMG High Velocity Barrel II
Assault Rifle Omni-Blade II
That means we need to find:
4 Pistol Ultralight Materials
3 Pistol Cranial Trauma System
3 SMG Recoil System

3 Assault Rifle Omni-Blade

Just tried it out myself - as far as I can tell, they behave like the rest of the mods, i.e. they appear in the shops inventory and can be purchased as soon as the DLC is installed, either via the shop or the Normandy shuttle bay. Their appearence isn't affected by starting the DLC mission (or even opening Hackett's email) - they just appear (I was able to quickly snaffle the SMG MPRS just before the Lesuss mission.
Purchasing one mod means the next level up comes into stock in another shop.
SMG Mass Pulse Recoil System = awesomeness.

Yeah, I should have clarified that - only personally saw them go up to level 2 (the SMG ones anyway).

That goes without saying - though IIRC at least one of the mods is available via the Kassa shop which would imply that its available as soon as you have access to the Normandy.

They shouldn't be. The only reason I can think of for not being allowed to equip it on their guns is because you are trying to equip it with the SMG Extended Barrel. You cannot equip the High Velocity Barrel and the Extended Barrel at the same time, since they both modify the same part. This means you also cannot equip the Pistol Cranial Trauma System with the Pistol Extended Barrel, for the exact same reason.

I'd hate to have to wait for them to fix this with a patch, unless they're planning on releasing a patch next week. The M-3 Predator glitch still needs fixing too (still stuck at level VII).

I'm 99% sure it's a glitch. I played through twice making absolutely sure I checked every nook and cranny in every mission and area. I bought all the mods from the stores and I checked the stores after each mission.Irassat wrote...
