You do realize that the required allied goal was 50k, so the pc players were able to achieve the goal themselves we only carried the PS3 population.

That would be awesome or I'm hoping for a Hurricane II to reduce the recoil some for it is evil even on a Turian Sentinal stacked for recoil stability. or a Valliant I to top off my N7 collection. I'll probably end up with a Crusader.

It has to do with Leviathan. The first "mission" you do in the Leviathan DLC matches up with this.

We are but a small, humble group. But what we few, stout warriors lack in numbers, we make up for in spirit!

The way this xbox user sees it is simple. There are three platforms, and the one with the fewest promotions still had well over 1/3 of the required total. We all did our part. N7 unity. As Shepard would say, it will take all of us to defeat the Reapers. (or future objectives at least)

Wow...I didn't realize the xbox community was THAT much bigger than the PC crowd...I honestly though the PC crowd was at least as big as the Xbox (knew PS3 was a non-factor since they only got into ME recently)

Wouldn't know it by the average poster here on BSN....

Depends on what you mean.  Active players it's actually probably a little less than that, but when a new DLC comes out it will likely baloon up by a factor of five or more.

I think Air Quotes was taking the total number of promotions and dividing by 2 (bare minimum for commendation pack). They give a little leeway, because approx. 263k divided by 100k actually equals 2.63 avg promotions rather than 2. If I'm right, then Air Quotes is missing the fact that a whole lot of players promoted more than the bare minimum...some much more. Even with the tremendous success of this operation, I'd put the playerbase that participated noticeably under 100k, but that's just a guess. The only way we'd actually know is if bioware released the number of individuals getting commendation packs. Well, that would get us closer to  the real number, but then we'd be undercounting as it would miss the players who chose not to promote or  couldn't get online this weekend.

Go Xbox! What surprises me about the Xbox numbers is that it seems to have the most frequent server disconnects - comparing by my own experience playing both PC and Xbox. Can't speak for PS3. But since this wasn't a mission completion op, I guess it makes sense.

the commednation pack for squad (or in this case individual) success will have one of the promotional N7 weapons like the Hurrican, Eagles, etc.

Allied victory pack will be like a jumbo equipment pack, only we'll get a gold item card too. In this case, we'll also get a +1 to maximum medi-gel capacity, so that we can go into matches with a maximum of 6 medi-gel (not counting those who were at 10 before the change was made).

I think I can now see why I get so many disconnects playing on an XBOX...A whole lot of fans playing on similar servers. Way to go team!

You chumps didn't carry anyone. The goal was 50k promotions and it was met.

As said before, the fact that PS3 has no indicator for when these events starts does not help at all.

It would be nice if PS3 got a splash screen saying
HEY YOU THERE, THERE IS WEEKEND EVENT, DO IT NOW!!

If i didn't check these forums, i honestly wouldn't know why i got a commendation pack, or what to do to complete the squad goal.

If PS3 actually got a splash screen mentioning the event at all, then maybe our numbers would be better. Still don't understand why we don't have one. Bioware plaese get one so that more PS3 people would jump into the fight. As it stands, too few of us even knew there was an event going on.
