1. Does PD really detonate tech bursts?
2. If so, should I still only use the class with Biotics or mixed groups?
3. What's a good full auto weapon to use with the special ammo? (warp\\disruptor rounds.)

1. Yup. It detonates Fire Explosions and Cryo Explosions too.
2. You can use it with any kind of groups. PD spam combined with charge deals a lot of damage - especially with the power damage buff -, which is always good.
3. I can't help you with this, since I mainly use the Talon.

2. Both work. What u should do is use it with an ammo power like Disruptor ammo or Incendiary Ammo.

Ummm...... wrong sub-forum or is Phase Disruptor now available in single player? I'm about to start a Vanguard Insanity run and would love PD on him!
