Worst glitch ever i see in single player games.

Something else to try. Hit the "walk" key when approaching the ladder.

I am having the same problem, i have tried the look up suggestion and that hasn't work but i will try the shooting the ladder one next and see if this works.... it's a good DLC up to this glitch... hope it gets fixed quickly.

Edit:  i just reloaded a save at the top of the ladder shot the ladder's top run and well it worked for me i am now down the ladder, i still hope there is a fix for it though.

Looking up does the trick, might take a couple of times though. Bioware, do a ****ing better QA please. This is a very, very, stupid glitch and apparently widespread.

Well I used the walk key while moving towards it and it worked. So either I got lucky that time or it's a work-around

I have encountered the latter problem too, but I have yet to try the workaround suggested here. Thank you to the forumites for your input. And I hope Bioware will see to the issue too; I've been enjoying Leviathan so far - it feels about as spooky as Overlord in ME2 or possibly Feros in ME1, and that's a good thing

P.S. I have tried shooting the ladder and looking up. After about the eighth try of accessing the ladder while looking up (and then turning the camera up again while "sliding") I was down. Thank you for the help, everybody.

Save/load worked for me on first attempt

 After several unsuccessful tries of getting down the ladder me and my team gets killed by invisible ravager. Oh, and also going back and using the other ladder doesn't work either

EDIT: combining the look up and dont reaload weapon worked THANK YOU

suffering the same glitch, if it took em till today to release it to the public how the play-testers missed such an obvious bug really amazes me

I pressed spacebar while trying to climb down. It helped or it was just random luck. Anyways, I'm amazed how we find solutions for glitches when we all want to play so bad .

Yep looking up (even though the game keeps trying to pull the camera down) will get you down the ladder.

I did the 'look up' thing...it finally worked. Just kept frantically pushing the mouse up and then a harvester blast hit and...well. I appeared at the bottom. Good luck all.

I'm stuck too, only time I got down without using the ladder by the harvester shot was when it killed me so it doesn't count.. gonna try all that you guys suggested and hope it works..
Hoping that all these glitches so far forces them to release the patch.. too many things in game needs fixing -.-

Edit: Looking up did help! Thanks for the tip! Wonder if it helps at MP too though.. anyway.. getting back to game!

Just wanna say I had the same glitch, but just moving my mouse about let Shep eventually fall to the bottom of the ladder after the sliding animation took him nowhere.

Thank you, this glitch kills some of my interests in playing. Looking up solved the problem.

Looking up isn't helping me at all, and it didn't help my brother. He just randomly got to go down the ladder eventually, and I'm not able to go down at all. Tried W, tried looking up, tried spacebar. This is just disappointing.

edit: finally got it to work after bruteforcing it, this time looking up worked. Still, aggravating, and I hope it gets patched for the sake of new players and those who want to replay.

This is a bug that should really have been obvious as it stops you form continuing the DLC, so how come they didn't spot this?

EA wanting to turn some profit againa nd so there was no time to check the DLC properly.

Sorry, but I buy this stuff and it isn't cheap and stupid erros like this annoy the hell out of me.

Same issue, Femshep does not like that ladder. Teammates went down fine, no luck with the typical acrobatics (rolling, running, backing into it), and save/load didn't work in between acrobatic attempts. Looking up while walking into the ladder _did_ work. Gotta love the forums to remind you of the simple stuff. Thanks for the solution!

i dont know what workaround works for me but i seem to fix it after like 50 attempts, workarounds are something we shouldn't have to find for DLC we paid 10 dollars for, congratulations bioware you have successfully found a way to port multiplayer glitches into singleplayer with some new animations, sincerely, congratulations, please just fix this so we don't have to endure it anymore, i'm just seeing the irony in the free dlc being more play tested than a paid one

I've been having this glitch too, but at least I have some workarounds to try now.

The strange thing is, I've never had it happen on multiplayer or anywhere else in singleplayer.

Oh, man. I tried that and it worked for me. Thank you. I can't believe this glitch still persists. I got stuck in the ladder in the main campaign so many times! Urgh. It's so frustrating!

I've tried everything including the "press escape to go to menu just before going down the ladder" fix which worked on the first mission, and still can't get past this
