If The reapers die in destroy then the leviathans may rise back up and subjugate us under their powerful will through indoctrination and have all races serve them

In Control the leviathans can still take away control of the reapers from you and probably even use the reapers against you

More hope for refuse that if the leviathans could survive from the first cycle then maybe some of us can to

Control is still as sketchy as usual... you outnumber the Leviathans 3000 to one, so they can flay all the Reapers they want, you're still God of the force that's unbeatable through conventional means.

Synthesis is being pushed more than ever, it is known.

Destroy is made to look even worse through more contrived plot gymnastics.

Destroy is still the best choice.

But you don't have complete control of the reapers the leviathans do as well and they could still use some of the reapers to cause harm to us or the galaxy

Destroy is much worse because now that the reapers are gone by the next 50 thousand years the leviathans may spawn in mass and take control of the galaxy again

For me this is by far is the saddest thing about everything. I don't even care that much about the endings. You have no idea how pumped I was about the Reapers after ME1. To me they were akin to god status. ME2 didn't do anything to dissuade that.

Then ME3 happened.

Exactly what i feared. Trying to push synthesis. They are just doing it by the back door rather than the fron this time.

Got out of the MP forums OP? Anyway, nope. I still think Destroy is the best option.

Eh, I'm pretty concerned about what the Leviathans could do with their version of indoctrination in a post-synthesis world.

Maybe Omega/Illium/Wherevevr DLC will allow us to add some Halo-style 'kill 'em all' functionality to the Crucible? It'd be doing the universe a favor, at this point.

Pretty sure if they could take out all the Reapers they wouldn't be hiding. So Control is still as good as it ever was.

I have a quick and easy fix for this problem:
Delete the Leviathan DLC and there will be no Leviathan threatening you ^^

Leviathan: I will jam synthesis down your throat and you will love it.

Now seriously is this a hint that the cannon ending might be....
Synthesis.

Uh... How exactly can they do that? Just because they can control husks doesn't mean they can control the reapers themselves. If they could, why would they be hiding from the reapers in the first place?

I'm still going destroy if only to skip the synthesis ending husks getting memory back and screaming like woman in Sanctuary. Forgetting the human centipede style brute.

"Mummy wheres daddy?
Over there, well half his brain, part of his torso and his butt, the rest is Urdnot Coletrain say hello...
