Synthesis is by far the worst choice. Why? Because I don't care about the geth or EDI being destroyed...I care about the future of the galaxy....being partly synthetic and organic it's not so coo...even if there would be peace....I can't really imagine that if you choose destroy the Leviathans would rise up....They wanted just to protect their kind...not to destroy them....as you heard...they made a mistake...and they were nearly exterminated.
Still they will enslave us all and become the apex race again if they gain the opportunity they even mentioned that in the dlc
well if you destroy all the reapers you deny the big crabs a large armada to enslave. and the dangers of the mind control orbs is known now and as far as i can tell 3 reaper like ships is better than a 1000.
and their motive to control all life again is scary.
still i wonder if they affect the ending. that orb dispercing team can do alot of damage and a lot of them is probably more effective than the curcible and citadel armada combined. we all saw they have the power to render a sovergin class reaper braindead

I don't think Leviathan has any influence on the balance of the endings. The strength of the Leviathan species has been their secrecy ever since they were almost eradicated by the Reapers. The post-ME3 galaxy will have to deal with them, but the veil of secrecy is gone.
thats why the DLC discourages Destroy and pushes Synthesis more

To make matters worse, carefully read the War Assets gained from Leviathan. It says that a group of special operations units are carefully placing those artifacts across the galaxy so that they can be used against the Reapers. Not only are the Leviathan a threat in the Destroy ending, but you are actively setting up their ability to take control of the galaxy for themselves.
right. but brobably carfully monitored teams and you can sheild yourself from them and also easy to destroy

I think it's the opposite, it proves that no ending will have eternal peace. They will fight to control the reapers and make them their slaves as Leviathan states, so if the reapers live in the end, they will be able to go back to how things were. But with destroy it slows them down because they don't have big numbers.
right on the money. 3 is bether than a 1000

I am not confident that they can even take control of a Reaper itself, nor am I confident they would pose a significant threat in Control. I think someone else posted this, but if they were that capable of being a threat to the Reaper fleet, why refuse to help and remain headstrong in your decision to hide in the first place? I got the vibe that even the Leviathan know that they would be destroyed if they drew attention to themselves, that is why they called Shepard a threat for bringing Reaper forces with him when tracking them.

Well at the very least destroys leaves them open to not have to worry about the reapers anymore and they can become a threat again in the future I think this will be the driving force for a me4

psh. Destroy is still the best option. no more reapers and there's only 3 Leviathan's in the galaxy on one planet. Sounds like it's time to drop some asteroids on the planet and call it done
You'd have to catch them offguard. That planet is not their home planet according to the codex and they are capable of space flight.

Honestly, I think they might have been refering to the Reaper forces. Indoctrination allows them total control of their husks, essentially rendering them as an extension of the Reaper itself. If they actually meant controlling a Reaper, I will believe it when I see it. We've only seen them destroy two Reapers (potentially only one) and I see no reason why control would not have been a better option for them given their love of it.

Leviathan said the remains of them were in the corners of the Galaxy so there is more than 3

Nope. It's called Worst Destroy.
Refuse just results in the intelligent life in the galaxy being harvested.

Well from what I read in the war asset description and codex entry they no longer have ships and it would take years to recreate them, and as far as their little EMP pulse. it only works in atmosphere. Drop the asteroids from orbit and we'll be eating fried calimari by lunch

Well then. *loads gun* I guess it's Reaper Crab hunting season! Gives my Destroy Shepard something to do after the war with the reapers. He does enjoy wiping out ancient threats to the galaxy!

He also claims he is their progeny. He isn't one of the original Leviathan that escaped from the Reapers. For all we know, those three are the only ones that thrived on the planet and possibly the only ones that the Reapers have not gotten to over time.

I can see it in destroy with the main threat of the reapers out of the way they won't have to hide themselves from the galaxy anymore and may focus on continueing to reproduce while enslaving or taking over the lesser races they see inferior they didn't have to add on to the endings they have already made great changes to destroy and control without even having to alter them because of this dlc
....what?
