Is it worth getting?
Is its story interesting?
Is it long?
Is there any choices to make?

No spoilers please.

There's a glitch with a ladder. You'll know it when you find it. The most common workaround is to look up when walking into it.

Whether it's worth getting depends on your criteria for length, interesting and choices.

Is it worth getting? youtube first to make sure, if you liked ME3 as it stood before you'll probably like this
Is its story interesting? Reaper origins revealed, if that's interesting is up to you
Is it long? about 3 hours I think
Is there any choices to make? No

It depends on a few factors.
Do you like Destroy best?

Probably not.

Could you care less/prefer a different ending?
You should definitely get it.

Do you like creepy stuff/being all detectivey?
Yes.

Do you dislike EDI?
No.

If you want an answer to only two really annoying questions, yes.

If you want to throw a possible wrench into the Synthesis and Control endings, yes.

If you want to prove IT is correct, you won't get that here.

If you hate autodialog so much that it prevented you from playing ME3, it'll prevent you from playing this.

If you want to destroy the Reapers, yes.

Great DLC, well spent $9.99

people tha tyoutube or wont pay arent true fans and prolly havent got their parents to raise their allowance of $4.99

anyways, great DLC, there is one part of why shepard sees the "child" on the crucible and why is the "child" especifically, if you payed attention to the ending of the DLC convos it will make total sense, as Leviathan uses "memories" to embody himself in shepards mind, same way the crucible control embodied himself as one of shepard memories. Oh its a great Story line DLC, learn a lot from what who and how the Reaper(s) came to be.

I watched first 8 minutes, realised the writing was shoddy, lines delivered poorly and stopped. Went on forums, read brief summery and was glad did not buy.

Hopefully DA3 team will do good work, I've written off ME3.

I you want a little bit background knowledge of the Reapers it is ok. If you hope that it influences the ending or if you hope for a lot of gameplay then no.

Honestly it is worth it. It's DLC, people i think expect too much. Basically you learn about leviathan and the histroy of the reapers.

I don't know why people are giving it such a negative review. The only negative thing is it doesnt add dialogue to the ending, where you're asking questions that this DLC answers. But I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that all crewmates actually have new dialogue here, and don't just stand silently like all the ME2 DLC. There's no major choices etc, but its the best large scale lore we've gotten in ME3 so far after the epic ending balldrop.

It's pretty obvious this was written before we got the EC. I believe it'd feel a tad odd to play this before getting to the ending.

That said, this DLC was incredibly polished. Even the skyboxes blew me away at times. There was also more dialogue choices compared to the vanilla game (still not back to ME2 levels, but better than vanilla ME3). All squadmates talk, even some short and fitting LI nudges...

Aside from the huge exposition device at the end, it was pretty darn good methinks. As for the exposition device itself, the scene was beautiful cinematics-wise but I can't help but feel it all felt a bit... off, in that we had enough Cthulu as is.

Definitely a Yay. Great mood and visuals, a good investigation story. Revelations at the end are not great but ok. Took me about 2.5 hours to finish.

One really annoying violation of in-world scientific principles, unfortunately, but while that makes me despair of the ME team ever taking their lore seriously enough to stick to it and not casually throw it out of the window every time it suits them, it doesn't ruin the story.
