...are WAY too powerful. Can they PLEASE be nerfed? Even just a little? My usual squad and I have been taking more damage from turrets than phantoms and atlases combined at this point, and it's getting to be more annoying than fun whenever one of them pops up.

That said, that's just my opinion. What do the rest of you think?

I think that if you stand in a place where they can't shoot you, they can't hurt you.

They are really annoying if you run around. So you have to tiptoe a bit. Heh.

At least they can't teleport through walls like Geth Turrets do.

I'm not too bothered, generally spot them being placed, or dart into cover when they start shooting.
Absolutely LOVE hacking them

With Cerberus, Engineers should be your #1 targeting priority, higher than Phantoms at distance.

A hacked, exploding turret is the best thing since missile launchers and sliced bread.

Agree with that, but phantoms don't always allow it.

I think the buff was unwarranted and I think there should be a cap (probaly 2) to how many can be in place at one time. I also think engineers should only be allowed to place one. Once they place it their exploding backpack is gone.

They are an annoyance, but part of the Cerberus charm. Always be on the lookout for them when going to revive a team mate. There is a reason he's down!

Turrets are my bane. How many times have you seen a pile of dead N7s because one person died and didn't mention the turret that killed him? I don't think they should be nerfed because that pile is also mighty funny, but yeah, they are ridiculous.

The engineers drop them in the same spots on every map so if you memorize them, you should be able to expect where they will firing from.

Yeah but there's always one you miss, and it sets up a turret just round the corner on the sly, ready for someone to blunder into it while running away from phantoms.

Those engineers deserve to be killed by their own weapon.

The moment you hear that turret sound put that front of mind with whatever else you are facing that moment.

True. We've had our asses handed to us by those as well. And yes, it's very satisfying to see the combat engineers go down screaming as they die horrifying deaths. THAT'S how much I hate those bloody stupid turrets...

What I wanna know is, why do they get such badass turrets that are highly effective, and we get these piddly little turrets that are all but worthless?

More like, they keep respawning to keep the quota of engineers until the wave budget is expended. Stopping one when you see him setting up a turret is a worthy goal, but killing him just means another engy will be setting a turret elsewhere, where you cannot see him.

I think my favorite engy kill is when you shoot him in the chest with a weapon that has pierce mods. The bullet goes right through, hits the turret on his back and blows it up, usually killing him in the process.

Yes, quite an annoyance, but just bear in mind that they have fixed positions where they place them.  Memorizing these locations for each map and being mindful of them when running around will save you a lot of headaches and medigels.  If you let the Engineers set them up, it can be quite a killer on maps like Rio or London, where you're basically surrounded. I think it's especially funny when they place them right next to eachother.

if the alliance seized Cerberus Turrets stocks, the Crucible wouldn't have been needed

No, they are part of the game and OK like they are. The only thing I don't really like about cerberus is the smoke. It's more irritating than challenging. I'm not saying they should remove it, but don't add mechanics like that into future games.

I once saw a teammate killed by a couple of turrets, he went down in exactly 2 seconds. I couldn't help him since I was an adept and lacked firepower to take down shields and armor, since 1 second exposure could rip me apart.

I can deny is fun to see vanguard go down far away from us.

Cerberus engineers have become my number one target in Cerberus matches. Not much worse than a turret actually being set up.
