I have the Collector's Edition, but when I start a new game with a different Shepard I do not receive the N7 weaponry immediately, anyone experiencing the same problem, is there a solution for the problem, or is there a point where I need to pick them up in the game on a 2nd playthrough?

Now that I think of it.. I don't have any of the Collector's Edition perks.. like the Robotic Dog and the alternate appearances on my 2nd Playthrough...
