Ive seen worse much worse in person.friend bout seven years rescued a dog from neighbor two miles away from his "farm" and that dog was in deaths grasp. and my question is why did you place any in "humanity" anyhow that was your first mistake and last that dog is pretty tough

The advancements in technology we have been making recently have always interested me, thus giving me hope. I mean wow, actual pictures of Mars from the surface? Sure it may be boring for some but for others it's gobsmacking.

It's not the acts of kindness you rarely find on this planet that give me hope if thats what your thinking. No, i've given up on Humanity a long time ago on that part.

If that makes any sense to you.

It's when reading this i feel like giving the scumbags a beating like there's no tomorrow is too nice. Pathetic piece of sh*t. Shoving that cactus where the sun don't shine is a nice first step though..

Wow, seriously?

This is why i love opinions, you will always find someone with the complete opposite opinion to yourself and they are fun to read.

Personally i think it's the way forward, augmentation, implants etc. If it furthers our species then why not? Honestly it sounds amazing, my career goals and uni course is actually about combining Mechanical Engineering principles along with bionics to the Human body for medical reasons. I am really excited for it.

I also don't really believe in a 'soul' for each Human or Humanity overall.

What made you think this way?

I agree with him NB. and hearing your opinion is unsurprising. As to how he sees it I suspect the same as me.

One need only open there eyes and look to see the price we've paid. But as you have no concept of a soul or humanity my words would only be wasted on such as you.

While soul can or can not be associated with religion, i'm more of a science person. I love hearing of advancements it really gets me excited.

I have a concept of a 'soul' i'm just not a believer in it, i'm interested in what you have to say. There is a reason why augmentation has many moral implications and this discussion can easily sway into 'what makes us Human?'.

But i think the main issues lie on those who will use it for personal gain and or for ill use agaisnt Human life.

Nonetheless, it is fun to discuss with others, learn from a different point of view and perhapes i will learn something for myself.

That's what I do with my two cats, everytime I read something where an animal gets hurt.

It's unforgivable of course, but it's like some of you have never heard of animal abuse before. You only lose faith in humanity now?

Child murder, rape, trafficking; Yeah... animal abuse is one of the lower things on my list to be honest.

Burning the dog is cruel, but some of the comments ive seen by some of you guys proves you aren't no better than the one who hurt the dog... stories like these are just designed to get people riled up. Besides this stuff happens all the time, this is small time compared to the other **** humanity has done.

I think it says a lot about a person's character if they're willing to give up on humans as a species because of something like this.

Nevermind all the good things we've accomplished. Yeah, there are bad people, but I don't even like hearing this kind of thing as a joke.

A handful of humanity is evil, so we obviously all deserve to burn in an eternal hellfire.

You mean you had some to begin with? Anyway, this is truly a disgusting display of human nature, and I hope the people who did this get what they deserve.

This is apalling to hurt such a animal. As for hope for humanity there is none.
