I get the unreadable disc error during the load screen after talking to the abomination boss at the top of the cirlce tower. It's very consistent. I have loaded earlier saves and done other quests before returning to the tower and yet again getting stuck. I can't go forward or backwards. All I can do is load and avoid that area. I tried installing to HD but that stops at 4%. The game disk looks good.

Could I avoid him by siding with the templars? or do I have to work on another character and hope they can make it through that spot?

Anyone have similar issues?

I'd suggest cleaning off your HDD and installing to it, as it sounds like you have run out of space on the HDD. If you are sure you have the space to install the game, maybe clear the memory cache.



Never heard of anyone with this problem, but that is the conclusion of the quest so you need to go through him one way or another (either let him kill all the mages by turning them into abominations or stop him using the Litany... that's how you choose to side with mages or templars).

well, I think I have the glitch aswell but im trying to get the mages as allies in 'the Blight' quest with the treaties, but when I go to the tower I cant get through the door. I searched for ages but I cant pick( go through) the door! I NEED HELP!

Ive got the Dwarf, Human and Elves to fight on my side but I cant get the mages. What do I do?
