Despite the fact, that it takes up to two minutes after starting the game, before i can even play it (because the game needs to connect to some EA servers, what takes half of an eternity), i suffer in at least 25% of the time from horrible lags and insane waiting times in multiplayer games.
The problem seems to be, that the game doesnt care much about the connection quality to other players. But the result of course is, that some games are just impossible to play, because of horrible connection problems (and on my side, i have a very good internet connection and no problems with other games whatsoever). Furthermore, i frequently have to wait several minutes, until i actually get logged in into a running multiplayer game or lobby. And some other times, this doesnt even happen and ends with an "you lost the connection to the mass effect 3 server" error.

I like the multiplayer very much and i had those issues from day one. But since it didnt get better during the last 6 months .. well, i think there are needed some improvements ... very badly!
Why does BioWare use this concept of "Host Players" anyways? Thats stone age technology! Why isnt there a bunch of global EA gameservers as hosting machines? Seriously ...

Your work on the Leviathan DLC is done, so please dont takea rest, but instead improve the multiplayer concept so that it becomes a non-annoying experience.
Thanks.

It's never going to change. Under the direction of EA, Bioware has made the first steps towards becoming a fully noncommittal and unresponsive company, just like everything else EA touches. Can't say I'm surprised, but it's very sad to see the company that produced ME1 and DA:O turn into another generic studio that pumps out cashcows and can't be bothered with consumer response.

Honestly though, most of the MP problems are EA's fault. And apparently Bioware has a gag order when it comes to explaining the flaws of EA's backend, so it's pretty reasonable to assume we'll never see a) an official response or B) a fix.

Just be glad you can actually play MP, many of us can't even complete a match without being kicked by EA's terrible DRM servers.
