I recently beat the new Leaviathan DLC and obtained the bonus power Dominate. It works great... When it actually works. Sometimes I'll use it and enemies will be glowing with the domination effect around them (a slightly bluer hue than a person in stasis) and they will still proceed to attack me even after I clearly castes it on them. In my opinion, this bug pretty much ruins any use of dominate if it's a gamble power. I guess I'll go back to my favorite power, reave, for now.
Anybody else experience this problem, or is it just me?

I just finished, haven't tried this power.
So is it just that they are completing their animation right as you cast it and that is why they are shooting you? Or is it that this occurs much later after it is cast?

Well I've noticed the common pattern is that when the enemy is walking away from you (like a nemesis running away) and then casting it makes them still be hostile. It seems only to work when they are not moving. Also, it does not work sometimes when they pop out of cover and it is cast. The power is castes exactly like warp, and the animation is the same. I guess it's just the AI conflicting with itself.

Dominate has a limited range, one similar to Sabotage. If you get in close enough and the enemy doesn't pull evasive or cover, they will serve you. I particularly like hitting ravagers with it. The hit hard, they don't doge, they don't take cover, and it allows you to get close to the bastards.
