Soooo, I talk to Vega after finishing Leviathan and he says "too bad Ann didn't see her father's work come to fruition." WTF?

Wait a minute Vega!  I thought you took her to the Medlab!

EDI made me do it!  She kept egging me on!  We had to find the exact system the Leviathans were in!

Did I mention that I went and scanned those other systems anyway?

Sorry about that Ann, but on the bright side, you would have just been blown up by me with the rest of the Citadel had you survived.

Every minute saved by not scanning is a treasured moment in time.

****, is she dead? They really should have made that clearer if she is. Kind of feel like a dick now.

Actually, Bryson becomes a 20 pt war asset with the Crucible project if she survives. Maybe more if you save her from some migraines. Just make her bait twice and save her that one last time.

She also talks to you at the end of the DLC if you saved her. She keeps the apartment though Posted Image

What could I do, that renegade interrupt was blinking, I had to click it. I ended up scanning those systems anyway...

I did the scene 3 times to see all outcomes, I had a feeling she was dead after picking the 2nd interrupt so I reloaded and stopped after the 1st interrupt. It was my kinda of renegade moments...

I thought she was fine until James said that line, then I was like "WTF, but she regained consciousness and when to the Med-Lab on the Citadel."

I guess that was BioWare's way of "balancing" the Paragon and Renegade options, too late to go back and do anything about it though.

Lol, either way, you lose the Brysons' awesome apartment whether she lives or dies. Lose lose lose.

Honestly, one of the best Renegade conversation in the game. Maybe not the best, per say, given Mordin and Tuchanka, but certainly up in there.

It even made up for the creep factor from watching my uber-Renegade be all sympathetic and comforting, and the creep factor from Love Interest James Vega.

That scene was beyond epic.

James being there was really random, though.

Heh.  I'd actually taken James (and Garrus) with me to rescue her, so I thought that Bioware had implemented some cool recognition of who you took with you.  Sad to see that that is not the case.  I suppose the reason he is there is the same as the reason he's in the game in the first place: he can't be dead.  The only other character that could play his part in that scene is Liara (since EDI is already there), and Liara doesn't seem like she would fit as well in that role.  Just my opinion.

I believe she end up in the same condition of her father's assistant, since the Leviathan did with her the same they did with him...

Leviathan in general had some of the better Renegade interrupts, these being some of them. Having them spread out means you can role-play a paragade pretty well and chicken out after the first interrupt.

oh the Three people That can be alive at that moment

Edi is doing the Scanning

and does Liara look like she can Restrain someone with her arms?

Though I'd have liked if you had kept the apartment, so I can figure out the rest of those myths on the wall and have everybody in the squad just hanging out!

She doesn't give any more War Asset points if you don't do any of the Renegade interrupts, so you're free to use the first Renegade Interrupt to get a closer signal, but don't use the second one, otherwise she dies and you lose those points.

I generally don't do renegade interrupts unless I know what they do EXACTLY because they too often end up out-of-character, so I didn't take the interrupt. Still, I think it was a good idea to balance out the paragon and renegade paths.

I got lucky and found Leviathan on the first planet I checked, so it didn't matter anyways :D

After I heard Vega say that, I ran and searched it in google, and found this here.

Have to agree, awesome interrupts = most epic renegage ever. Really intensified that moment and made me feel like I was right there.

On another note, she was pretty aggressive about wanting to do this even when I asked her to back out and informed her that she did not have to do it. I figure it's like this. In the game's reality Shepard doesn't have time to run around scanning planets when the Reapers are around, she needed that information right now, and the woman signed up. Shepard offered her several doors to back out, and the woman still went through with it. At that point Shepard wanted that information, and in my Shepard's case, that 'ruthless' part of her that she had since outgrown came out and it really became an 'all or nothing' moment for her.

Maybe next time she'll get saved...can't say for sure those renegade options were too good to pass up xD. Only thing is, it seemed to me like Vega and Ann Bryson had some sort of romance going on >.>, I felt kind of bad because Vega seemed to really like her.

I like that scene, too. I took the first interrupt, then saw she started bleeding and didn't take the second one. Pretty good hint where things end up if you take the second one.

Edit:
And in my post-cycle future Vega and Ann will end up together of course....
