What level were you and your party at, or around, when you went to the Landsmeet? I'm at 15 and Lohgain always wins against me in the duel, and I'm trying to figure out if it is because I'm in leather armor, dual wielding, or if it's because I am at level 15 and need to be higher.
Thought?

Loghain does hit like a truck, and even using Alistair who uses the Dragon Armor with mostly in dex, he still needs to chug some potions.

I think the key for a rogue like you is to stun often, cloak often, use special abilities to lower his accuracy.

Ha, problem is, I'm not a rogue. I'm a warrior, duel wielding and in leather. I suppose I'm a bit oximoronic, and possibly morronic. I've been trying to find out if leather is the right choice for dual wielding or not. I suppose it isn't?

Oooh darn I'm out of ideas then. Though I think it would be more fitting that the son of Maric (Alistair) pwns Loghain.

Edit: I guess the rock-papper-scissor combo exists in Dragon Age. I'm not sure how a DW leather-wearing warrior can beat a sword-and-shield tank like Loghain.

You'll then have to compensate using expensive health potions.

Hm, 15 during the Landsmeet? That seems a bit low to me.. I guess you didn't commit to most of the side-quests? I know I was a little over 20 during the Landsmeet. And leather armor, maybe for rogues(although, I did have my rogue.. wearing the Warden Commander Armor.) but, for a dw warrior I'd think it would better wearing a higher tier armor than leather. And what Original suggested.. guess you'll need to burn potions.
