I just want to let anyone who wants to increase backpack size past 125 now versus waiting for bioware to increase it for us. These are the steps you need to do below.


to max the items you can carry

My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\*your character*\\saves\\*the save you want*
and open up the .das file in the toolset
go to savegame_partylist
savegame_max_items and change it to 999
save and when you load the save you can now carry 999 items

just don't buy any backpack after that or it will reset to 125

Just so you know when you find the save you want for your character open your toolset up and drag and drop your DAS file in that save folder into the toolset window, and edit from the above instructions.

unfortunately that is old news...

you could even do that via cheat engine or other hey editor like i did



it does not change the fact that the limit of 125 is hardcoded and can't be changed per script either

unless bioware changes it...

Yeah I don't know why they put such a low max limit on the game especially since you start out with 70. Even with good storage management you sometimes run out of room.

something scaled through strength would be a compromise but that wouldn't be for the whole party...



maybe 125 per partymember so you start with 125 and gain 125 after a new partymember joins our party
