So you'd rather not have an AI that can instantly interact with computers and read and asess their information faster than any organic to aid in an investigation where all the evidence is almost exlusively digital data? You'd rather not bring a robot tailored to hacking Cerberus consoles when raiding their base?

EDI is the writer's pet. Look at this Leviathan DLC. It's pretty obvious EDI is realy forced on you from the very beginning. I don't get why she has to be with me in Bryson's room. It's so unnecessary. Liara is Shadow Broker and archeologist, so she will be better. Tali knows lots of tech and can hack and gather data. People sometimes say Liara is the writer's pet. I don't think so. EDI is forced on you far more than Liara. All the stupid questions about being human, Illusive Man base, and Leviathan. I hate how she is protected by the plot. She is more unkillable than any squadmate.
your just being obtuse.
Only Liara, EDI and James can even be there.
And people **** about how Liara is the writers pet constantly. Just like your doing now.
They used EDI instead this time round, and i can't really complain about that voice.
honestly deal with it, we were so lucky to get dialog for all our squad mates, In ME2 no dlc had dialog for squadmates beyon some basic stuff and even then that was lacking. get with the realities of the situation, they can't pay all the voice actors to voice all the lines for a $10 DLC.
And they can't write stories for charecters that might be dead like Everyone in ME2.

I agree with JesseLee202.
The game should let you choose any alive squadmate. Tali can do this job instead of EDI, so why can't I choose?
