It´s obvious that in future DLC will be more answers like origin of Crucible, which sucks when you need pay more money for completing your game.
I thought that I had bought complete game, and not just part - but this is already accurate after release of EC and Leviathan DLC which are trying to fix the mess which the artist cause.

Agreed. DLC should be extra content that adds lore/gameplay to the game, not forced content to help understand the game/story.

I just wanted to add something to #2 which allowed me to reconcile with the shape of Reaper cores.

Maybe it's like a memorial, a gravestone for the harvested species, so to speak. That makes the Reapers into flying, heavily armed tombs/necropolises. There's no practical reason why the core has its template species' shape, it's a twisted due to the dead.

So nobody else have any theories for points 3 4 and 5?

man at the moment anything is possible. Is very clear that bioware is rewriting the plot of the game to justify the ending. Depends on the decision of a 4th mass effect game depends on EA accepting it etc.

I HAVE A DREAM...Posted Image

I see a better possible beginning to Mass Effect 4.
That is to have the end to Mass Effect 3 to be all a bad dreamPosted Image, or Shepard just fighting off indoctrinationPosted Image.

No suprise...

Their are other factors that should be taken in to account.

The Citidel is a Mass Effect Relay, that was going to be used by the Reapers, so they could come from Dark Space to the Citidel.

ergo..

There has to be a large Mass Effect Relay like the Citidel, or Somthing in Dark Space like a Hive

That could cause the Reapers Greef if it were Changed or Destroyed.

And how would this Something In Dark Space be changed or distroyed in time?

The answer is the Crucible, the Crucible's true purpose was not fully explained.

But it is connected to the Citidel and the Citidel purpose is a Mass Effect Relay to Dark Space.

I just thought that with this little change in the story,

it would allow the Writers more flexibility in writeing Mass Effect 4.

I know this may have already been thought of,  I just have not seen any posts with this kind of twist.

YES.

FINALLY someone else who sees that there must be something else on the other side of the Citadel Mass Relay.
EvChances are it would be only lconnected to the Citadel Relay, otherwise the Reapers could have just Beamed into anywhere else in the Galaxy regadless, or even to the Alpha relay.
Purely a two way connection between the Citadel and a Darkspace Relay.

The use of it as a target in an attack from the Crucible Weapon is doubtful however unless the protheans(the same ilos scientists behind the Conduit?) acertained its exsistance and significance to the reapers. Remember: The Cycle's only ever became aware of that the Citadel was even a relay when the Reapers have already attacked. Their chances of getting onto the Citadel to learn this is slim, because their access to the Citadel is cut off. (what with it being Ground zero for, and presumably the stronghold of the Reapers)

the only downside to the idea is that conceptually, a space station outside the galaxy may seem too similar to the "Ark/Instalation 00" from the Halo Franchise.

But the idea of bringing up the plot element of the Citadel Mass Relay is one i  was sad to see not used again.
I imagine that the shape of the station would change dramatically or something for this function to work thought, seeing as it is a very transformative and compartmentalised set of structures over a larger superstructure.

i feel the DLC should add more to the story but should not exsist to solely fulfill a mandate of filling plothole or answering questions.

Omega's DLC was forshadowed as much as Liara's Shadowbroker DLC. I think Leviathan may have had a bit of rewriting done based on the ending and EC? but it was definitely slated to fulfill the assumed FAQ and speculation fans would have at the games end. (EC was placed in due to demand)

Leviathan also picks up on the forshadowing by the Batarian's discussed by Balak in ME3 and the Leviathan of Dis, mentioned as far back as ME1 and even the first ME novel(i think...?)

From ashes was pushed back from in game content to a kasumi/zaeed level companion DLC (sort of.)

aaaaand i have no idea what else ME3 singleplayer DLC could be based on, at least by comparing the DLC of the past games that is.

whoa, wait.....what if Cerberus wanted the Citadel, so they could get to Darkspace and "Escape" The Reaper Invasion? sure it wouldnt really work, seeing as their all in various levels of indoctrination, but it would be a possible motivation to their attack, seeing as its doubtful they knew its significance to the Crucible at that point?

I always thought that the construction of the Crucible and the "dont know how it works" factor was explained pretty good.

They built it according to schematics handed to them, they didnt know how it worked, because it was a compounded construction of all the previous cylces who had attampted it.
Each addition would make it incrementally "better" than the last. so when the next cycle got their hands on it, they didnt have to do so much.
If this has been going on for a majority of the Cycles (who we must remember are all harvested at the same comparative technolocal level of superiority) we end up with an object that should be much more sophisticated and hard to understand.
Anderson in ME 1: "the last time we found a Prothean Beacon it jumpstarted our technology 300 years." (from where earth was -----> To galagtic "Standard" of Prothean Empire's last days)

Finding the Crucible plans is taking the galactic "Standard" but it has been pushed Much further.

Accumulatively this device has been added to for so long it surpasses the established knowledge of the Cycle's that the reapers harvest. That is why the Design is made "elegant and simple", so it can be built with simple knnowledge of how to build it.
It is also so different and so powerful of a Eezo core (which it basically is) that the races who build it have absolutley no idea what the effects of such a monumental device could be.
It's unfathomable because the idea of building something on this scale is literally beyond their level of technological understanding and nothing to their knowledge has been built on this size.
i estimate this is also why they have Hackett mention a post Crucible Arming escape and rendevue:its unpredictable and they need to be away from it, just in case (and to regroup/tally their losses/celebrate victory)

The only ones/one who could know for sure what the Crucible could do is the Catalyst/Intelligence, who was smart enough to Build repaers and the mass relays.(and has the collective knowledge of the past Million or so cycle's civilisations.)

And ingame they simply say:
its simple, elegant., very powerful, no idea what it could do.(they draw parralel to the Manhattan Project and Atomic Bomb) and you get people all over from to work on it. No one person is going to know what the whole thing does. Its constrution would be highly segmented and like someone putting a puzzle together to see what the picture is(and they have the benifit of being given IKEA instructions.)

Issac Clarke said all types of highly advanced technology looks like magic until science catches up and explains it.

which is my personal understanding from in-game of how the Crucible is so-called "Space Magic".

Maybe a short dialog/private message/scene that makes the Cerberus' attack on the Citadel fit better to the story (the data could be put in any unrelated DLC)?

On point number 5:

As far as the destroy ending is concerned, I don't understand the anger this generated. I always simply assumed this to be some sort of vital power conduit between the Citadel and the Crucible, the destruction of which caused a chain reaction that unleashed the Crucible's stored energy in a more violent manner than the other endings.

Control, it doesn't seem to require an explanation.

Synthesis, despite being my preferred ending, I got nothing. Strangely that doesn't really trouble me one bit.

According to people who played Omega dlc nothing was added to the reaper story so i will not be buying the dlc for now.

Don't understand Bioware personnel thinking, we say we want story dlc and they give us combat dlc with the boring Cerberus.

I've got a question that someone can help me understand better: What were the Leviathans doing right before the Catalyst decided to harvest them? How did the Catalyst manage to harvest the Leviathans?

Not sure, would be good to have some clarification on that. But it's safe to assume the catalyst was given some kind of power that the leviathans were too arrogant to realize would turn on them.

It created an host of machines which it used to collect data whilst figuring out what to do about the synthetic 'problem'.

Once it had decided on a course of action, it used its creations to slaughter the Leviathans in a surprise attack.

Then made a Reaper out of them, for some reason.
