I thought Kid Buu was significantly weaker than Super Buu (only less restrained), who Gohan handled handily until he got smacked with the idiot ball (so many idiot ball moments in that saga), whereas SSJ3 Goku was only about on the level with Kid Buu.

I never understood that dumb shít. I mean, supposedly is the fat boo stronger but then the slim one beat him easily? and isn't the kid buu the weakest, then why could he the fat one so easily?

It's Zoro in the Japanese and original English translation. The German translation is Zolo. Which I find kinda stupid, because the Germans translated Luffy to Ruffy.

Yeah, I'm not joking, in Germany, Luffy = Ruffy, and Zoro = Zolo. Stupid silly Germans. :lol:

It goes like this.

Vegetto > Boohan > Bootenks > Gohan > SSJ3 Gotenks > Booccolo > Super Boo > Kid Boo > SSJ3 Goku. Don't forget that Kid Booo does not get any weaker or hurt as he fights.

I was actually wrong Gohan is full on stronger than Goku is.

America(or well Viz) still calls him Zolo in the manga at least.

That's just stupid. Here in The Netherlands all One Piece characters are called by their original Japanese names, with a few exceptions, such as Shirohige and Kurohige, who are named Whitebeard and Blackbeard, but that is acceptable. After all, Marshal D. "Blackbeard" Teach is based on the famous Welsh pirate Edward "Blackbeard" Teach.

What does ****** me off though is that the English always write our Dutch names wrong. For example the captain of the Flying Dutchman, who's based on the mythical Dutch captain Willem van der Decken.

I'm not sure how it's translated in the official translation, but in the One Piece fan dubs they translated it as Vander Decken. As if "Vander" is one word. It's not! :pinched: They are 2 words. VAN (which means "from") and DER (which means "the").


Same shit with Mark van der Loo, the face model of the default Commander Shepard. Here on BSN I always see his name wrongly written as Vanderloo.

It's not "Vanderloo", it's VAN (from), DER (the), LOO (the name of a town).

Apparently they chose to call him Zolo in the 4kids dub too, so I was confused how his name was actually supposed to be spelled.

Yeah in the manga and in Dragonball Kai it was pretty awesome. Not so awesome in the original Dragonball Z anime. His "I WON'T LET.... YOU GET AWAY.... WITH THIS... ARGH" speech was kinda silly and stupid.

The dub speech is horrible.

No, I like Ami too. She has that kinda aloof attitude that I like in all kinds of stuff. I actually like Ami the same or a tiny bit more than Minori.
