Hey, when I start up ME3 it says 'connecting to EA Servers and it does connect but it takes a stupid ammount of time, roughly 60 seconds to do this. I don't reuiqre it to do this and want to make it stop but couldn't in my search find how to make it not automatically connect.
I saw one post that said to go to Options-Extra-Online and turn it off there in game but there is nothing like that in my 'online' section in game.
So yeah, feeling like a noob and not knowing exactly what to do, any advice/directions to a thread that explains it clearly and was sititng in fornt of my face that I can click on while shamefully trying to delete this thread?
Possibly noobish question regarding EA Servers.

Yeah, I have noted I even seem to be lucky that it is just 60 seconds and I eventually get it, but it is very frustrating. I just feel like there must be a simple 'don't try to login on startup' button I must click somehow.

It needs to connect to the EA servers so it can verify whether your game was legally acquired every time you turn on Mass Effect 3... except I'm under the suspicion that the stupid system doesn't work properly since I've been locked out of Mass Effect 3 for a month now.

hey. i figured out what was the problem for me.
if you youse hamachi on your pc be shure to exit the program and also disable the "fake" hamachi network card.
i belive mass effect 3 is confusing itself when that network is active. and i suspect i was only able to connect to ea when a frend was active on one of my hamaci networks

Glad it is fixed for you, but I on't have that program
I just started it up and it took roughly three minutes to connect and then 'find' my DLC . . . it's really annoying.
