Look, I don't know you and am not trying to insult you here, but the fact that you don't see how that makes you immature is precisely the reason you are immature.  Not that there is anything wrong with being immature, we are who we are and we all change over time.  If you are doing it just to spite to poor bastard, that is extremely immature.  If you are doing it just to have a few laughs with your friends, well, it's still a bit immature but mostly just comedy relief after a hard day spent in reality.

I wouldn't stoop to his level. If you think a reply is necessary, I would say something like "lame response" or something to that effect. If he responds, don't respond back. In other words, don't feed the trolls. Most likely, he will take the bait and wonder why you didn't continue feeding him.

Could be. or it could be soem guy who feels liek he is an eliteist and eveyrone is below him people he only does PUGs and usually wins out, but when he playes with some good experianced players and winds up on bottom and is on the other side of it, maybe it'll change his attitude

I think some people feel big and bad when they are sitting behind anonymity. I don't think anybody has ever schooled him or maybe his mommy was very controlling so now he takes it out on random people on the Internet. I'm sure he's done it to others. I run into people like this sometimes. You can usually tell in the lobby, because they have their mic on and have no problem using it. I usually leave. I can understand though when one of these jerks gets the last word in and leaves thinking he accomplished something by insulting your friend. It can be tough not to react sometimes.

Like I said though, I would most likely watch your video. The irony!

For me it has nothing to do with self esteem.

I just find it hilarious when players that aren't all that good themselves try to act as if they're somehow great. (I.E. noobs calling other noobs bad, noobs putting kickvotes on other noobs regardless of how they're all going to have to be carried, ect..)

Its that. Even if he is a good player its irrelevant. Just becuase you did better then someone at the game doens't mean you have to **** talk them about it. espicially in a co-op game

I think it is probably the angriest I've been in multiplayer. I hope the guy disconnected bc if not he is the biggest douche in the universe.

i have never seen a thread where someone said they were playing with pugs and the pugs were bad and they carried them in which the pugs thanked him and they said go back to bronze

Whether they posted a private message or not there are loads of threads and posts on there about people complaing about pugs, having to carry people, etc etc. and being upset with the dumb noobs.

Yeah, that's a real dick move. However, you're not going to prove anything to that dude if you and your friends make him finish at the bottom of a scoreboard. If you've ever worked in customer service over the phone, you'd know that people will say anything, ANYTHING as long as they don't have to look you in the eye. Chances are he'll just call you cheaters, or say that you all have no lives, or he'll laugh that he got under your skin so easily.

Who knows? Maybe he's on BSN and recognizes your buddies from any of the Platinum videos/screengrabs you've posted and now feels like a moron. My point is, you know you're good, you know your friends are good, and you also know that sometimes, people on the internet are dicks. It seems kind of lame to want to go out of your way to prove any of that right.

Thats is basically the whole point. he could have just said Thanks or not even replied. You give someone a compliment and they come back with you suck go back to bronze etc is just plain rude

and it's not 'rude' to blast people left right and centerr in pugs for being terrible or having to be carried?  As I said, if your friends are good players that a very benevolent, never complain about others play then they were slighted.  If not then this is simply the shoe being on the other foot and it's good that they got a taste of being talked down to.

I would say it would be VERY easy to murder the score of alot of players with at team of 3.  EVen a very good player could have his score neutered if three others go into a game with the soul objective of kill stealing.

One thing, though... don't play in a way that sabotages the guy. Don't refuse to revive or any of that ****, unless he starts it off that way, generally playing in a way that benefits his score rather than the team. Because then it is 3 vs 1 rather than you guys just showing him that you're better players.
