I just turned level8 and got my arcane warrior unlocked. Has anyone got any decent tanking tactics I can borrow/steal? ^^

I focused on getting Cone of Cold in the primal tree. But I'm sure any version of paralyze or hold spells will work. At that point I wade in and hack away until my enemies are no longer frozen/crushed/held/stunned, at which point I re-freeze/crush/hold..... wash, rinse, repeat. Not exactly complex, but it works for me.

Get Shimmering Shield ASAP. It's going to be your favorite spell, believe me.
Rock Armor and Arcane Shield are also very useful for additional armor/defense.
Cone of Cold is good for crowd control.
The basic Heal spell is simple but effective.
Crushing Prison is a very powerful spell against bosses. Mind Blast, Force Field and Telekinetic Weapons are also very useful so there's no reason not to pick up all these spells.
Finally you can't go wrong with the Primal spells (Fireball, Blizzard, Tempest...).
