Is this true because I have read somewhere he won't be a party member I'm sad that he won't be there as he was one of my favorite characters. Guess at least Garrus might be there as he my second favorite.

No, Garrus will return as a squadmate. Wrex will only appear in a cameo... it was confirmed. This is due to the fact that Wrex can die and it was said that in most peoples playthroughs he ended up dead, which i dont entirely agree with. But it is what it is...

I really hope it's affected by ME1 save (not actually getting Wrex as a playable character, but just that we get to see more of him if he survived in the original). Although, I personally think he's insanely overrated... if anything else, Sten is kinda upgraded version of Wrex and he does it better.

good love garrus absolutely hated wrex he was too much of a smartass and had zero personality in my books. I also suppose that they didnt put wrex in because he would be exactly the same as grunt soldier/biotic!

they could've just taken grunt out and put in wrex!!! im sad that my 2 favs wrex and ash, will be gone forever ! X(
