So i started playing through ME3 on Insanity as an infiltrator. I'm still on Earth, but i have the Krysae X and Black Widow 1 unlocked. I thought i could upgrade the BW to X if it was good enough. What do you people think?
Krysae X or Black Widow X?

Not sure if you can upgrade the Black Widow to X in one playthrough. You could try...
I hate how the Krysae fires so I would recommend the Black Widow myself.

If you love single-fire weapons, go for the BW. If you don't mind the rapid-fire, go for the Krysae.

BW is lethal at level X. I personally hated the Krysae and even on insanity my infiltrator can take out normal enemies in 1 or 2 shots without using cloak.

I already have 270000 credits. I usually change my class with gibbed while on earth. So i am now a lvl 58 infiltrator. I tried the krysae and its alright, will try the BW later.

Haven't used the Krysae in SP yet, but it is largely the same as MP.
Black Widow is better against larger targets, whereas the Krysae will only pull ahead against clumps of smaller targets.
I haven't really played NG+ much, but Black Widow X on the one game I did is quite powerful. With the way missions are structured, and the lack of clumped enemies, I would go with the Black Widow.

I mostly play Casual, and on that setting a BWX with Piercing mod V and Extended Barrel V will punch a single shot through two Cerberus Guardians and their shields, and leave a scorch mark on the wall behind the second one. Haven't tried the Krysae yet, so can't comment on how it compares.

Take the Black Widow it lives up to it's namesake. The Krysae is fun to use but if you want something dead and dead fast few weapons kill like the Black Widow X.

In any discussion about 'Black Widow vs <other non-Valiant Sniper Rifle>' I normally side with the Black Widow, because its the best balanced sniper rifle in the game - it manages to pack many of the advantages of both semi-auto and single-shot SRs into a single rifle, meaning its useful in a bewildering selection of situations (big targets, mooks, bosses, headshots, guardians, defence-killing etc).
As nice as the Krysae is, it should be sat in the middle of my back in the ME2-era HW slot, and not trying to be a sniper rifle. Because it isn't.

Personally the Black Widow "feels" better to me. Thats mostly because I find the Krysae to be a bit "cheap/lame".. at least on an Infiltrator where "sniping" is supposed to be precise... the Krysae is anything but.
One thing to keep in mind with the Krysae however is that you can take BOTH a Krysae 10 + Cerberus Harrier 10 for only a tiny bit more weight than a Black Widow 10. That combo will give you more flexibility than a Black Widow by itself will. A lot cheaper also, allowing you to easily max your squadmate weapons.
In truth, I'd say it really comes down to which gun you have more fun shooting, because both are effective enough on an Infiltrator that neither is a bad choice.

Honestly i wouldnt use any of those two.
I prefer to equip assault rifle or something, and use incinerate and bonus power.
But if you want to snipe, i recommend something else, maybe the the javelin if you want a high damage one. If youre like me who doenst care about damage, the viper is preety good, it has a decent damage, and you can fire it 6x. The incisor isnt bad either, most people hate it, specially because the indra is better, but the gun is still very good.
