leviathan tells us catalyst is created to preserve all life in galaxy
catalyst tells us it was created to establish a connection between organics and synthetics
do your writers even remember what they wrote 6 months ago?

meant to establish connection to preserve life, or preserve life by establishing connection, you can always find reasons for something beeing terrible if you look at things only in straight lines.

Not quite sure about it tying into the end, but the missions and background themselves were spot on.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Or fire pulse
rifles, for that matter. The catalyst explains that the purpose of the
harvest is to preserve organic life by collecting it and repurposing it
as a reaper. I believe that the exact quote is that it is, "preserved
in Reaper form." Pretty much exactly what is explicated in Leviathan.
Anyway,
I loved the DLC. Not quite as stunning as Shadow Broker, but still
worth it. I love any chance to have Shepard step away from the combat
and show that he can be a detective as well. It makes being a Spectre
way cooler than just being a specialized grunt. The unique underwater
elements were awesome too. These DLC packs seem freshest when they step
away from the core combat mechanics from time to time and this one did
just enough to add some real flavor.
Looking forward to more DLC, and re-playing this one with different crewmates in the meantime!

Edit: I should probably say that I mostly enjoyed the DLC, particularly the investigation bits and the detailed new environments.

I really enjoyed the mine and citadel levels because it felt real. It felt like I was there , it felt like being in the game.
My god imagine if you had the time and funds to do it throughout the whole mass effect 3. This dlc shows just how much potential was wasted .
All in all very good dlc in terms of designing plot music and exploration. the downturn is the story side which is restricted due to the plot holes of the ending. I hope you guys really have a plan about the ending and that you won't deconstruct the whole technological lore and basic plot of the game just to polish mac's and casey's mistakes.
