I feel for those that feel empty over the way Shepard went out. It's missing that extra something for me too. There's nothing wrong here. But we have to let it go to some extent. Don't be angry. It's ok to keep talking about it if it helps. Also, nothing ever happens if something is dropped completely. 1% chance is better than 0% chance, right?

So, this is essentially for those that care mostly for the characters more than anything else. You can still be heard, but being constructive about it will always go further than being angry. Share your fond memories of ME. You have some of those, or you wouldn't be here anymore. Share your thoughts. Share your headcanon. There's a ton of you out there, and it's clear to see. It's the best we have at this time, and it may help you feel better.


If you feel this is all stupid, that's ok. Just please, no trollin'.

Draw a reunion, write a reunion if you have talent in those areas. I did that and I felt pretty good afterward.
Something like this (just of course wih Shepard burnt to a crisp at the end of Destroy)

Well my headcannon is sort of conflicts with the ending and L.I's

As i redid the whole ending and made a non L.I a L.I with hardcore reunion time


And technically with the games ending everyones dead and the cycle continues

I keep trying to reimagine How it should have been. Ash, hesitating to put the name on the memorial, Garrus, James, Traynor all looking sad. And then they hear over the intercom "Fifth Fleet to Normandy, we found SHepard. He's alive!" And the Normandy takes off.

Or Shepard waking up in a hospital, all bandaged up and tubes sticking out of him, hooked up to monitoring equipment. He looks over, and there's a smiling Ash, who takes Shep's hand and  says "You got it done, Skipper. Welcome home"

After everything Shepard saw, heard, and did in those final moments of the game, I really needed a brighter future for Shep than a pile of rocks and one breath...

Don't feel bad. I'm rewriting part of the plot for the game. I'm posting it on a fan fiction site. It's up to 25 pages already in MS Word. I hate to say it but it's already looking better than the story we got. I'll link when done. Just substitute your LI for mine and you'll be golden.

I'm so sick of the Bioware corporate attitude toward its loyal consumers for the past 15 years that this is it. I've retconned a hell of a lot of stuff going back to the end of ME1 when the retcons started. Just some scenes here and there, but now I'm full into ME3. Basically this ME with brains instead of full retard. I throw in a commercial every now and then just for fun.

You'll have your ending. Shepard doesn't end up in a pile of garbage.

Well, my Shepard is still alive no matter what anyone says. He destroyed the Reapers and he walked away unscathed. EDI is still functioning properly and the Geth are still helping the Quarians rebuild. Mordin washed away his sins with his sacrifice, Legion will always be remembered, Kaidan was a good friend and my Shep will always regret not being able to get everyone out alive. That said, he ain't retiring anytime soon, maybe less shooting, but he's still in the military, training new recruits sometimes, exploring the Galaxy at other times, not necessarily shooting everything that moves. Also, he's got a family now, he's not the perfect dad, always away on biz, but he ain't turning out like Jon Grissom either.
