Hi, I have the trilogy but without DLC of Mass Effect 2 because i have bought this just before the third and I have destinated my money at Mass Effect 3 + all DLCs available for now.
I love the trilogy, but I find that Mass Effect 2 DLC's now are very expensive for an game from January 2010, and never go on sale.
I don't ask an sale on bioware points because these need to buy other things, I ask an reduction of ME2 DLCs costs, not is tollerable that cost are equal at an very new DLC for ME3.
I undeerstand that it have quality but now it's time to reduce the cost (imho), I think that this can convince many users that not have ME2 DLCs at buy them.

This is what I think, I want to buy all DLCs, but sorry not at this cost (only the DLCs of story are 2480 points)
Sorry for my english.
bye

First off you're not talking to anyone at BioWare or EA here. This is just a forum for gamers that only occasionally has someone to do with the game makers pop in and see what's happening. Mostly they're in the ME3 forums these days. Yes, does kind of suck when you're on limited income but if the alternative was cheaper DLC but games not coming down in price as they age to the extent that they do now then you'd be no better off.

Secondly what you're asking has been asked before many times, and it still hasn't happened. Personally I believe they may be selling DLC at a price that helps subsidise permanent price reductions in the main game and will therefore never reduce the prices.

If you're on a budget I'd suggest buying the DLC for ME2 (and download the free Bring Down The Sky DLC for ME1) and not buy Mass Effect 3 yet. Everyone's mileage varies but I've played a bit and watched a bit of ME3 and I'm still not prepared to pay what it currently goes for. I've just bought the rest of the ME2 DLC instead because despite some story flaws that's still a fine game. It's also not yet clear how much more DLC will come out for the third game and whether (judging from some comments about the recent Leviathan ME3 DLC release) it'll be any good. The choice is buying something of known quality now versus buying something that is likely to come down in price and may still have another DLC to come.

I have bought Mass Effect 3 at normal price, and for me is wonderful, I have already bought all dlc (i not have yet played leviathan only because i not have time in this period).
I want ME2 DLCs and I will buy If the price drop, e.g. at beginning of the year the bioware points were on sale, (I read on internet).

Unfortunantly, the only way you're going to pay less is if you buy Bioware Points when they are on sale on Origin (which is rare). But you are right. It's unfair that it still so expensive after all this time. All of the relevant story DLC ( Kasumi, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Arrival, etc.) totalled me about 30-40 $. It's a ripoff when the game is 60 $ and gives about 40 hours of content and the DLC costs 40 $ and gives you about 10 hours of content

Like I said, one subsidises the other. If we were getting DLC reductions like that it's pretty unlikely we'd be picking up the games so cheap. Cheap DLC would be nice but say you buy a game and hate it.... you're down maybe $30, $40, $50 or more depending on when you gave in and bought, and because you don't like it you're not going to buy the DLC for it anyway even if it's a dollar or two each, right? I'd prefer to keep the game prices dropping rapidly as they age on the basis that if the game sucks I'm only out a small amount of money and don't have to buy the DLC at all.

Bottom line, figure on paying the same amount of money whatever happens. Once the premium for buying on or near launch wears off the game companies still expect a certain amount of turnover per copy sold and DLC is part of that. We'll either get old games for maybe $40 and have to pay $20 for the DLC or you get the game for $20 and all the DLC will cost about $40 or so. It's still going to be sixty bucks either way.

I decided that will buy only 2 DLC:

- Arrival (because is very important, that is a bridge from ME2 to ME3, indeed I not have understand the event before the start of ME3)

- Lair of the Shadow Broker (maybe I will buy this because is the best dlc of ME2, but i wait an possible discount on points)

Err.. might I reccomend Overlord over Arrival? I find it a much better DLC. Arrival is essentialy a shoting gallery for Shepard's personal use (no squadmates allowed). There are no decisions that impact ME3 (ok, maybe a small tiny one, but it just affects dialogue and like 25 EMS points). Overlord is much more enjoyable, in my opinion. The atmosphere is just so creepy and haunting. And the decision at the end will have an effect on you (in the sad and pitying kind of way).

Worse comes to worse, you can always watch Arrival (or whatever DLC you don't end up purchuasing) on Youtube. It's also the only place where you can find Arrival's soundtrack (best thing about the DLC).

Shadow Broker - fun to play, good story, sheds a bit more light on what went on shortly after Shepard temporarily died, lots and lots of credits and loot to be found so worth doing before Suicide Mission IMO

Overlord - fun to play, good story, excellent atmosphere, great looking semi-open world only let down by some annoying platformer stuff in the Hammerhead

Kasumi - fairly good story (sadly IMO underused consequences, but can be said for most of ME1 & 2 really), great music, good Kasumi dialogue, just today had heaps of fun playing it as a Vanguard for the first time

Arrival - fun challenge as it's mostly a solo mission but one which eventually wears off and it becomes a mook shooting gallery as Chris2365 said, story is basically a rehash of ME1's Bring Down the Sky except stupid with gaping plot holes (So, men, we've got Shepard completely powerless, unconscious and under our control - shall we handcuff him to a wall in a locked room with his weapons and armour locked away on the far side of the base or shall we just give him some Stilnox and leave him unrestrained on a bed right here with all his gear in the next room? I'm for Option B, how about the rest of you ), everything in it is dealt with in ME3 whether you play Arrival or not. If you're going to skip one DLC mission in ME2 I'd make it this one as it's the poorest for long term entertainment and value. The other three are still fun, but Arrival feels more like a chore to me now.

 Thanks for suggestions ^_^
I search the DLC that can clarify the start of ME3, and I was told that is Arrival. (http://social.biowar...index/7674344/2 )
I don't search an very fun dlc, I wish to know the story (because is wonderful ).

From Overlord description, the story doesn't very interest me :?
I'm also interested at Shadow, but not are sure to buy this.
I want to buy only one dlc for now, and I think that will buy only Arrival.

please don't spoiler the dlc story.
