Hey Pitznik have you ever considered the cruciable could be a trap and a future dlc will confirm this.Hell the biggest thing that sent alarm bells to me was the destruction of the mass relays which is suppose to wipe out star systems if destroyed.

Why do people think that Conventional Victory would make the Crucible pointless? Some might think the other options are still better when you weigh things, considering that continuing the war without using the Crucible, even to a victory, would lead to a whole lot of death and ruin, possibly more in total than Destroy would, but you don't exterminate an entire race in an instant. Of course, I don't acknowledge Indoctrination Theory one bit and feel that the choices are what they are presented to be, so... that's probably why I think like that.

There is going to be no conventional victory DLC or even unconventional refuse victory.

All the DLC is kind of pointless if it won't lead to a new ending...
Why bother finding Leviathan or helping Aria take back Omega if you fare no better against the Reapers with their help?
I hope the DLC will culminate with a new ending...I know a lot of people don't want to pay for a 'true ending' DLC but I think it might be the best thing for ME3...

It's just, all of the current endings have something horrible happen...something that isn't right:

Destroy: Synthetics wiped out - why bother having us learn and feel for the Geth and even help them and then just wipe them out? The Geth need to be a part of the future of Mass Effect...

Control: I don't like the idea of Reapers existing in the galaxy after the war and helping rebuild. After the war, how horrible would it be for everyone to constantly see these massive death machines that were just slaughtering all of them? The Reapers need to be gone...

Synthesis: Everyone is part synthetic and part organic? Everyone loves everyone? No more war or conflict because everyone is the same? No, no, no...

A new ending DLC could be a perfect way to prepare the Mass Effect universe for ME4...and a conventional victory sounds like a great way to do that...

I have the same feelings, the reapers needs to be crushed conventionally. The Shepard's way.

Conventional Victory was actually handed to the Galaxy on a plate in ME2. The Mass Accelerator gun that took out the Derelict Reaper and created the Great Rift Valley was defunct but you telling me Salarians couldn't reverse engineer a new one? Imagine if in the 6 months Cerberus or the Council had built that and that was the point of the game. That would make an awesome point if Cerberus had the gun and you had to wage war against them to get it.

To be honest conventional victory and a simple Reaper short circuit button should of been the ending.
