Well, if you are mentioning the part where you fight the undead. It happens that you don't encounter any more enemies directly.
First solution:
Walk around the battle environment, check out the houses nearby the lake, as some Undead remain there, bugged. Kill them. Just scope everything out.
Second Solution:
If you can, save when you slain most undead and you can't find others. Re-load to see if that works and follow the first solution. It happens to be a memory leak.

look behind the blacksmith shop by the docks, the last enemies get stuck back there and the dots dont show till you are right on top of them

Do the undead come from any other direction other than down the mountain pass with the green smoke? I was up next to the windmill on the top of the hill (right next to the smoke and the 3 NPCs) and didn't let any undead past the group.
After 5 or six waves the undead simply stopped spawning but the "fight music" continues to play and all the NPCs and exits are not helping. I've run up through the smoke, back down the hill, around all the docks and there are no undead to be found. I've tried saving and reloading my game but to no avail.
Is there any way to quit or restart this mission or am I stuck restarting my game?
Edit:
I happened to level up after the second wave and before the 3rd wave was in range I leveled up my character. I'm not sure if this was enough to throw a monkey wrench into the mission script or not. It could be nothing or it could be everything but I wanted to mention it all the same.

Alternatly you can wait for nothing to happen =)
Restart the game from a older savegame and try again. Best bet would be you restart from before the fight, not in the middle when the bug occured.

I was only using a single save slot and unfortunately I saved when I quit after the bug first occurred. I had hoped either the quest would be successfully over when I logged back in or that the remaining undead would spawn. Guess I'll restart then and keep a multitude of separate save games

Hansondr the undead do come from more then the top of the hill in the fog, once they stop coming from there head to the bottom of the hill to the chantry and they will start to attack from the docks then from the top again.

OOps one savegame is BAD
Hence the game creates 4 Autosaves on its own!! Unless you turn it off but i cant see it since saving is instant.
Yea there are more coming from below, that guy whos calling you to help

I restarted and was able to complete the redcliffe assult the second time around. This time I made sure to not loot any corpses and not level any of my characters until morning.
"Hansondr the undead do come from more then the top of the hill in the fog, once they stop coming from there head to the bottom of the hill to the chantry and they will start to attack from the docks then from the top again."
The NPC that announces the attack from the docks didn't show up for me the first time around.
I'd highly recommend that anyone attempting this quest not to do anything that breaks the flow of battle which includes leveling up, looting and I'd even avoid the wheel menu if all possible.
