The point is what people are saying is that we don't want it to go in that direction.  Have you played it with "no decisions"?  Try that and get back to me.  I like FPSs, but I know that's what I'm getting.  I like RPGs too.  But when RPGs become merely linear games with guns, they begin to be FPSs that are not as slick as a true FPS. 

Form what I've seen and heard the endings are more appropriate fro an action-mode "no decisions" run.  Shepard gets hit with tragedy after tragedy until the Catalyst finally finishes him/her off.

Those of us who actually put some thought into our choices get stuck wit hthe same ending though.

When I played no decisions, my paragon made all renegade choices and had renegade interrupts I never got before.

Someone has to take a stand agianst BioWare. Believe me, I have always imagined many ways to either corece and/or force BioWare. Even if it means the company dies with all the games they've had been developing.

Funny thing is this "Deal with it" post is from the person that got mad at everyone that didn't agree that the original ending's Joker runs away and the Normandy crash scene was sometime in the future and it was a crash test of the mass relays to see if they worked.

I disagree. Different places and people have said "never" about a lot of things, and yet things changed. Why because the opposition never gave up. If the opposition gave up no change every would have happened.

If we give up we know for certain nothing will happen. If we keep fighing there is still a non-zero probability of success. Is it not better to fight for what you believe in than surrender?

And in this case I'll be the first one who will ask devs to delete this abomination called "alternate ending". Then the others will come, and demand the same thing. Look with all due respect, I'm not asking for a wholesale change of the ending -- I can metagame the Geth biting the dust earlier so I don't commit genocide. Just a short DLC that has some fracking closure for the high EMS Destroy ending i.e. a rescue and a reunion scene.

It's not that difficult to put together. It won't destroy the fracking ending for anyone who is in love with Control or Synthesis. I think it would cost like around 100 to 200 MS points. People spend more on avatar items. It wouldn't take that long to do. It wouldn't alter DLC since the breath scene is in the original ending.

Control and Synthesis got closure -- Shepard died. Destroy got implications that Shepard lived -- then this all got clusterf***ed at SDCC and wherever else by various BW people trying to be "witty."

These are the same people that came out with DLC that allowed the Darkspawn to win in Dragon Age Origins ffs.
