And that's just fine.  If you like the endings now, I'm suggesting you get to keep them and that change be available for those that want it.  I don't want something I want forced upon others.

Yes, it's kind of inappropriate all around.

And I'm not saying what the devs will or will not do.  I'm not psychic with a special tune into the Bioware brain wave channel, so I'd never speak for them.

lol you've about as much chance of convincing us that the ending was anything more than a steaming pile, as we have of convincing BW to make changes to the ending. In fact they are relate. Once BW makes a new improved ending there is every indication we will become pro-enders.

I have heard rabid pro-enders described as suffering from "battered spouse syndrome"

"BW only hurts us because we deserve it. Please, BW, don't hit us anymore. We'll be good fans."

Or something to that effect.

Options are wonderful things.  Gives more people a reason to play the game.

I'm really not looking to bash anyone either here. But if someone comes here asserting that what they like is best I will state my opinion as they have stated theirs.

I can only say that there are ways to make more people happy, so that everyone has some bit they like, and I do want this to be less about sides and more about everyone enjoying something of the game endings.

No I get that-sorry if I seemed to take offense since I did not.  I should have smiled more when writing.  I was going to try to be funny and all and decided i didn't want to make statements about my religion here having standards-we don't let just anyone in, but I decided to do that here instead.

How this thread turned into another one of those pointless spiel session is unfortunate.

What I take from the O/P is a request for constructive dialogue with Bioware. Something that could be vastly improved for a company that uses "we listen to our fans" tag-lines so much. They do, but they use selective deafness. and can thus be accused of a perception of disconnect with their fanbase.

Wether you think there is actual disconnect, its perception that's important.

There are a substantial number of consumers who have negative perceptions, not only ending related. This thread, I had hoped would get some dialogue. Th o/p made some very good points.  Some want to be fans again and have meaningful dialogue on a variety of subjects. Some of the handling of this fiasco could have been handled more effectively and the best way to do that IMO is to have dialogue in a better form than twitter quotes.

This is it.  I think it's time to come back to the BSN.  Let's just try to find some civil middle where talking to each other instead of at and about each other.  Communication.  It's underrated.

As I've said I think we are have more common ground (all of us) than one might think.  I like at least 97% of all ME.  The last little bit is what I don't like.  So, we disagree about what is minutiae to one person, but what is everything to me.  But, that's the way people just are.  Some people form opinions subconsciously on the very first thing they see.  Bad opening, that's it, they hate it.  Some want a good middle.  Some only will remember an ending or the last thing they see.  But it is as much or more the subconscious. 

It's like some people forming opinions of people on first impressions and some that do so later on.  It's just how people work and how they are different.  We all have a different internal basis on what impression matters most-the first or the last.  You can't argue with it. It is what it is.

And opinions are meant to be different.
