ME3: Back to the Citadel. The lack of creativity in the DLCs (except for Omega, which was made purely by fans in terms of plot if I'm correct) is getting worse.

We don't have any idea what this Citadel DlC will actually be about yet except that it will feature the Citadel heavily. I say it's way too soon to pass judgement that it's 'uninspired'.

'

This, if they do do a Citadel-centric dlc, you better belive it will have relevance to the plot, otherwise they would do it somewhere else or not at all...

Well, maybe you could stop TIM on the citadel before its to late, before the Citadel is closed;).. And the talking with the Catalyst is unnecessary;)

Hallelujah..no, now I'm too optimistic

So does this mean that you are forced to buy Leviathan DLC if you wan't to play the next DLC?
Makes no sense

No, it just makes it easier for the DLC to integrate with the existing data, it can still work just fine without other files.

It's nice to know someone else is tired of it too. And I didn't direct that comment at you, it was just in general. I just wouldn't be surprised if Bioware just stopped making DLC all together.

i'll quote this here.

i really believe Levi is one of 5 DLCs. so that's Levi DLC out, the first that has story who was part of storyline that were cut out. i also Believe that Omega DLC is second DLC, i think third DLC would be probably a filler of more missions and storyline that contains our squadmates's storyline progression, like if Javik were to return to his former world that Alliance has probably Located an Protehean World. or other etc.
the fourth would be probably more of new War Assets like more new species joining the fight.
the final five would probably be the ending that was cut out before ME3 was released.

just my theory and 25 bucks.

what do you think?

here you go. Image IPB

Maybe its the Keeper Tunnels....would be sick

A DLC about Keepers history would be amazing. Maybe also connected to the Catalyst, giving more background and covering the "why didn't the Catalyst just let Sovereign in in ME1" plothole too.

Maybe the Keepers are the first race that started the Crucible design which is why Reapers enslaved them?

Maybe it could involve Thane as temp-squadmate since he's already on the Citadel?

my son and I have been thinking about this for quite some time now.
I really hope we do learn more from the keepers.
I still remember going all over looking for the keepers to scan them in ME1,
then in ME2 recieving an e-mail from Chorban..

source MEWiki - Chorban (ME2)

From: Chorban
I hope this address still works. I promised to send you intel on the keepers if I found anything, and this is important. See, those scans you took? It turns out the keepers are bio-engineered...and based on my comparisons to some of that material from Saren's flagship Sovereign, they were engineered millions of years ago...by the same people who made Sovereign!

You may not understand how important this is, but it suggests that the Citadel wasn't really made by the Protheans! It may have been made by something far older, with the keepers as organic guardians. And what's more, based on my genetic readings, they're supposed to react to...something, some signal or something...about every 50 thousand years. You can measure genetic variances; it's a bit like comparing rings on a tree to see the drought years.

Whoever did this...well, around the last time this signal went off would be around the time the Protheans disappeared. And it's scheduled to go off sometime around now. If any old tech still works, they could have some nasty surprises waiting for us.

Just thought you'd want to know. Nobody here on the Citadel will listen to me.

-Chorban

...then silence, I thought maybe Levi DLC would hint at the keepers,
especially seeing that Task Force Aurora could have checked the quoted info.

I'm pretty sure your number 5 won't happen. Chris already said there won't be additional endings. I don't think adding to the current endings was ever ruled out though.

Holy ****,

I predicted that there would be a Citadel based DLC just days ago.
Coincidence?

This might help prove this which is now part of the Puzzle Theory

They said they wouldn't add new endings with the Extended Cut too, then Refusal appeared.

I'm also hoping if it is the Citadel Bioware answers the question that I've had in my head since ME1

WHAT'S BEYOND THE CITADEL RELAY?

There's no way it's sister can be located in Dark Space for 3 reason.

1. The Sister Citadel has to be the same size,
2. There are no minerals or resources in Dark Space as there are no stars, (it could be possible it's orbiting a mined out starless planet)
3. It would be impossible to transport so much materials at a grand distance over FTL, not to mention would take far too long.

My Theory is that it's as I said before located within the hollow husk of a mined out starless planet, (perhaps it's core is exposed), or its located in another Galaxy.

Notice that those who have said the other relay is in Dark Space haven't actually been through it.

They never said they wouldn't add on to them(refusal), just that they wouldn't change them, which is fine.  They can still add on to refuse via DLC, without changing what we currently have

While I still think there is still the possibility of "adding" to the ending (Via an extended Priority: Earth, War Assets scenes etc), Chris said this on Twitter only 2 days ago:

'We have said many times, we are done with the ending of ME3. There is still DLC coming, but not "ending" DLC.'

https://twitter.com/...907959159365632

And then he closed the "Project X" thread with this:

'We have aid numerous times now, we have "ended the endings". While thereis more DLC for both Single and Multiplayer still to come, there is no more "endings" DLC.'

http://social.biowar...x/13817665&lf=8

I'd say it's pretty final that there won't be any mre endings.

I gotta wonder what's beyond the Citadel Relay. Maybe it leads to another galaxy... probably not but that would be cool.

Well, if they really plan on leaving the endings alone completely from her on out, these SP DLC's better add ALOT of context to the story just to make the endings somewhat palatable and make sense, although, you would think just from seeing a huge portion of the posts on the BSN about ME 3, they have to realize that they would make alot of money by adding onto the endings or tweaking them, or even making another alternate ending that's not so bleak like the current endings, no matter how hard it would be to attain

It's just frustrating to see so many good ideas thrown out there by people here on BSN, and then someone from Bioware pretty much saying that's never going to happen.  I will give them props for sticking to their guns no matter what Image IPB

Project X wasn't an idea, fan proposition/concept for DLC. It was a claim that it's coming from some "inside source at Bioware". They never close topics like "I want more Grunt in DLC!" or "I have an idea for Noveria DLC!", but they sure will comment if someone is saying that something is confirmed when it's not

Chris Priestly did say a couple weeks ago there will be no adding, subtracting, or changing the endings. Just, for the record.

I didn't say it was anything to do with the endings, like the people who claimed they had inside sources had.

Just that it's COULD be the name given to the Citadel DLC prior to it's offical name.

Well, they did technically add to the ending with Leviathan, even though it was just a couple lines of dialogue, but I get what you're saying.  No major game changing events will be added to the endings.  I'm still holding on to hope though, nothing is set in stone yet, until all SP DLC's are released

Yes, he did say Leviathan and future SP DLC can have an 'effect' on the ending. I hope it's something a little more than a line or two of throwaway dialogue with the catalyst.
