I, for one, have had enough of the Citadel as it is. Unless they make something super awesome on the Citadel, I'm not terribly interested anymore.

An Omega hub, on the other hand... I only have this to add.

What is a hub world or map? I'm sure I sound like a noob, but I've never heard that term before.

A hub world is a location in a game where there are quests to be done, you can shop, talk to people etc. Like a city.

ME2 hubworlds would be: Zakera ward, Omega, Illium, and tuchanka

ME3 hubworlds would be: Citadel

and ME1 Citadel, Feros and Noveria.

And pinnacle station, I guess

pinnacle station never happened lol

Of course it did, it happened near the release of m.......oh...you were...joking. OH, by the goddess, how could I be so dense?! [/liara]

There won't be any keeper tunnels in DLC.

If there were, the entire ending would have to be rewritten, as showing up in the keeper tunnels after the beam wouldn't be an OMG moment for either Shep or Anderson. Instead of "I'm going to walk forward and try to figure out where the hell I am and maybe link up with Anderson somewhere or other, it would be more "yo Anderson, we're in those keeper tunnels I told you about when I debriefed after that DLC mission, head over to the big room with moving floors and wait there for me, then we can walk hand in hand. After all, it's dangerous to go alone!"

Of course, Bioware might make a DLC where you find out about the origins of the Keepers (probably a harmless species with no desire to evolve or enhance their lives, just worship the reapers as gods and do their bidding in silence), but that whole line of writing would mirror Leviathan too much.

I expect Omega will be more of a Combat-centered mission than Leviathan with Aria as a squadmate that becomes a permanent crewmember and maybe gives a bonus power like the justicar bubble or something else from MP. They will definitely have a mission involving saving her secret boyfriend/girlfriend to make having her as a LI impossible and add another meaningful NPC to the mix. The "CitHOT" files might refer to a launching point area on the Citadel where shep meets with Aria and the rest of the gang task force they assemble to take back Omega. (If cerberus has hundreds of troopers there, I doubt Shep and the gang would try to take it back alone).

The 3rd and final DLC should be a dialogue/story intensive mission with a boss battle involved that will leave a loose end that can be exploited in Mass Effect 4, similar to how the shadow broker worked. Maybe it'll tie into why the statues on Ilos don't look like Javik, but reveal another race that could be a future adversary (after the boss fight, Shepherd will say "I hope that's the last we see of them!"). It won't involve any ME2 crewmembers/ME3 placeholders for dead ME2'ers, as they won't want to pay for 2 sets of voiceovers in case one of them died in the suicide mission, and since there aren't any meaningful characters left to pick up at squadmates, they might focus the story around Liara, EDI or James (the only 3 definite squadmates that everyone will have throughout ME3) and force one of them into the party with lots of extra dialogue. My guess would be Liara since EDI and James don't resonate very well. Either that, or it'll have some "go it alone" missions. A return to Ilos would also make a lot of sense - where better to learn more about the reapers, and the Inusannon would be an easy line of ME lore to exploit, as they came in the cycle before the protheans. Also, repairing the Mu relay would be a possible mission objective and big bonus to War Assets...

No, everything named Cit is definitely from separate project than Omega DLC

How can a Citadel DLC make sense? The Reapers will still take it and Shepard is not there when it is. I can see a sort of evacuation but playing as another NPC for an entire DLC seems strange. How will it add to the story? Keepers are interesting but at the same time are not.

Priorities:
1. Evac the citizens of the Citadel
2. Learn about the Keepers origins
3. Help the Council escape (even though it would be weird considering that in ME1 you had the option to save them so it would make it redundant)
4. Watch the Reapers take the Citadel

The End.

Yeah, doesn't add much of anything.

Look how they're naming the files. Everything from Leviathan was named Lev00x, despitethe fact that Lev001 was the Citadel lab. Also, none of the Cit-labeled levels were in the Coalesced file when Firefight was released: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/13564528/1 Only Lev & Omega files, rather heavily suggesting that the Cit project is newer and levels got added to the list only recently. Besides, there are already 6 levels labeled Omg, more than enough to cover everything

............

Maybe it could involve Thane as temp-squadmate since he's already on the Citadel?

That'll never happen. It would require the DLC be started from a pre-Thane's death point in ME3, which would require a lot of people to replay the entire game. Also, save files where Thane died in the suicide mission wouldn't work with the DLC. For the same reason, DLC can't heavily feature any ME2 squadmates, or characters that might die in ME3 before the Endgame - so no Legion DLC, no Thali DLC, no Virmire survivor DLC...

Nice work Isaac! :)

As soon as I downloaded Leviathan I opened it up so I didn't know which levels were in Leviathan and which weren't....

Oh - one odd thing is that there's entries for several multiplayer powers in the DLC. No bloody idea why though...

I don't think that line of reason rules out that files name Cit come from a different DLC.

Naming everything in Leviathan Lev makes sense since that DLC is 100% linear, so there is a progression Lev1, Lev2, Lev3. However, if Omega DLC involves a new Citadel hub with an investigation that involves going back and forth to several locations on the citadel, which might possibly remain  accessible after the DLC (maybe a cargo bay where you can buy illicit weapons/mods or a Pinnacle station style training area/arena) followed by a linear "take back Omega" mission, it would be very logical to have 2 sets of names. This is of course speculation, but you have to admit that extrapolating from a single DLC doesn't necessarily guarantee a prediction (if everything from the main games was named ME300x and the naming pattern was also in use for all ME2 DLC and the other main games, I would accept that reasoning, though...)

And the fact that these files have shown up since Firefight was released a month ago only means that they're just showing up in Bioware's working coalesced files now, not that it's a whole new project. Doesn't it make sense that bioware has finished some more areas to the DLC in the past month? It'll be at least 3 months before they release the next DLC, which gives them at least a month before they need to do final testing...

No, leviathan is not 100% linear, you return to Bryson's lab constantly and that one is Lev001.

As for naming in the main game, they name arcs - Palaven is named KroGar for example, since it's part of Krogan Genophage quest. So it makes sense they're naming DLCs after main theme - Leviathan, Omega, Citadel.

And all Omg and Cit levels definitely ain't from one project. that would be 11 levels, including Omega hub which alone can have several areas and tons of content. No way it's all gonna be in one DLC, ever DLC so far had 4-6 levels max

I was surpised you didn't make a thread yourself considering you've made the previous one with Omega levels from Firefight's Coalesced ;P Yeah,I wondered about MP powers too, maybe they will eventually add them to SP? Though some are very race-specific so IDK

I'm still waiting for DLC that allows Shepard to climb from the rubble, discover the batcave as Citadel survivors chant Deshi Basara, and then shows Shepard take over the mantle of the Dark Knight of Omega.

ME3: Back to the Citadel. The lack of creativity in the DLCs (except for Omega, which was made purely by fans in terms of plot if I'm correct) is getting worse.
