ME3 is a huge success especially when you compare ME3 to ME1 and ME2.
*headdesk* I just finished going over why the majority of ME3's sales numbers came from marketing and previous consumers!
NPDs are nothing new and if ME3 was bad then it would have died in its 1st month just like a game called Neverdead.
You keep saying that, but it's a non-argument. A game with a franchise behind it like ME doesn't just 'die'.
A marketing tactic would be free DLC not a multiplayer weekend. If that was a "real" marketing tactic then Halo, Gears, Red Dead Redemption, and so on wouldn't keep on having multiplayer weekends.
Free DLC like the bundles we've been getting recently? Look at the way the weekends are being handled. They're chores that require the participation of as many people as possible to work. They're a strongarm tactic to drag the community in.
If they were really inspirations then Gears wouldn't have the only focus out of that list.
so the fact that he says they are inspirations counts for nothing because he doesn't go into further details. Let's see...
I like Star Wars, Star Trek, CSI and Lord of the Rings. I love Star Wars for its characterisation of Darth Vader and his story of redemption.
Clearly because I didn't explain my love of the other things, I only like Star Wars.
Yet you're arguing not debating.
Pot? Kettle?
I was debating. i presented my points, and provided the reasoning behind them. You're the one arguing by countering every point with non-logic and badly worded posts.
Yet you would have to say the same thing with ME1 and ME2 based on these ME3 assumptions.
*sigh*... If you really think that, fine. I, however, am capable of recognising the games as separate entities that can have their own flaws. Just because one has a certain problem does not mean that therefore the previous installments must have as well.
