So awesome!
But if you want all the conversation options you have to buy the game from five different stores.

That was the purple option I used most, so no I wouldn't want to see it replaced. I liked the personality concept, but you can certainly have the addition of a neutral option if the situation calls for it.cJohnOne wrote...
They didn't use Charming very much and when they did I didn't like it. Wouldn't you like to see it replaced?

That doesn't sound very neutralEntropicAngel wrote...
No, no, no.
I was severely limited by the lack of a neutral option.

That really irritated me as well; my character might be flippant in conversation most of the time, but at that point it seemed really inappropriate. They really needed to give you a choice of lines.coles4971 wrote...
I believe cJohnOne means that it, dare I say it, breaks his immersion, and the character's verisimilitude. Hawke's meant to be someone we can roleplay, and it just seems insane that they can have some sh!tty joke for every single situation.
As an example to illustrate, the Viscount's son dying. Sure Hawke, you're hilarious cracking jokes about a father's dead son, because normal people do that right?

I just played that part of the game a few days ago and I'm absolutely certain that you don't get to choose your character's dialogue. Once you make the choice to kill the guy, then your character says a line of dialogue. I'm assuming that the line is chosen for you based on your most frequent dialogue response.Wulfram wrote...

I'm pretty sure there was a choice there.

That's just the point. It was horrifically inappropriate. Sarcastic Hawke tries to joke everything off, no exceptions. Try the Sad Clown page on tvtropes, it'll explain it better than I ever would.
Ha, you are right - I was thinking of the magistrate's son, should have thought a bit more before posting (I should sneakily go back and edit my original post so that it looks like I hadn't made a mistake j/k).Wulfram wrote...

I think we're talking different occasions
