im new to the game and im at attack at night fall ive killed the first set of zombies at the top of the hill and nothing else is happening the militia say there are more but i cant find any ive looked every where

You need to go down to the village center, the militia guy who tells you does actually state this

The route to the village is a little confusing in the fight, since the enemy there does not come from the village. Do not go through the barricades and you should find the fight in the village. How fast you get there only determines how many of the townspeople you save, you can still win the fight.
