So I'm starting a new walktrough with a classic pure warrior Dwarf, and I was wondering if someone here could help me build a strong support team for my Tank Grey Warden. I know Wynne is probably a must as a healer, but can you give me some more informations on the best combination I can use?
Thanks a lot!
Need help: best supporting team for a pure warrior tank?

The classic party formation is tank, damage, healer, utility. If your dwarf is going to be a sword and shield warrior, there's your tank. Wynne is a healer. For utility, you'll want either Zevran or Leliana. Leliana is probably better as you can start spec-ing her earlier than Zevran. Sten, Shale, Dog or Oghren can fill the damage role as needed.
Having written that, it's possible to play the game with just about any combination of companions. From a role-playing perspective, Oghren and Shale make excellent companions for a dwarf. Zevran gives excellent political advice in Orzammar. Morrigan and Wynne are diametrically opposed on almost every ethical issue, so choose the one you wish to listen to.

Since the word 'best' is relative, it all comes down to your playing style. To be honest, any team combination will do. And in the long run you only need two healing spell - heal and group heal, even a tanking arcane warrior can manage the occasional heals. So you may consider duping Wynne for Morrigan, she'll manage both healing and debilitating. Then you need a rogue - Zevran can be a backstabbing beast (with micromanagement) and Leliana becomes a deadly archer towards the endgame. The fourth member can be a 2H dps, or even Dog is a great damage dealer when foccused only on strength. Even shale has great abilities, to fill in different roles.
So, you see, it all depends on your tastes.

I'm actually rolling with a Grey Warden (tank), Shale (damage), Wynne (healer) and Leliana (utility) formation, but I'll probably experiment further... I'm probably going to try Dog as the damage dealer like Blazomancer suggested, because I always liked to have him in the team but never properly used him in other walkthroughs.
Anyway, very useful informations, thanks!

I find I can get away with the mage as both the damager and the healer, if I do it right. Thus freeing up a slot for a second meat-shield.

Jonata - your current squad sounds great, gameplay-wise (lthough Leliana and Wynne don't have the most fascinating discussions together). I wouldn't recommend taking Dog much as he quickly stops pulling his weight (due to levelling up slower than the other companions).

Thanks! Who do you suggest for some cool interactions? I know Morrigan has some of the best lines of the game, but after an entire walktrough with her always by my side I wanted to try something new.

Try Zevran with Wynne. Shale and Sten together are also funny (and a little sad).

Zevran does have some great lines, it's true (especially with Secret Companion), but he suffers from simply not being as good a rogue as Lelianna. If you can use a mod to respec him or get him right out of Lothering so you can pump some of his points into Lockpicking and Cunning, then he'd be a great choice. But in the vanilla game he just can't touch Lelianna for utility - at least until the late stages of the game. If you pump his Cunning and Lockpicking, then he's usable for the final mission or two.
Shale is always a must - great tank if specced that way, great DPS if specced that way too, and great dialogue. Never leave camp without her!
So really I think Wynne is the most dispensible of the three. Which is a shame, because she's a real boon to the team in battle. Morrigan does have some great converstaions with both Shale and Lelianna (especially if you are romancing one - or both - of them. Catty remarks and fur flying. Hilarious). If you haven't heard much of Morrigan's dialogue with either of these two, then I do recommend it.
But if you really don't want Morrigan again, then that leaves you with Oghren or Sten. Oghren's dialogue is mainly lecherous toilet humour - good if you like that sort of thing (I don't). A playthrough with Sten forever at your side, however, is well worth it as he never really opens up in camp. He'll always be the strong-silent type. However, on missions he makes interesting remarks which you can ask him about later back in camp when he'll talk and you get to know him. On the downside, a Tank-Sten-Shale-Lelianna team will be getting through the health poultices like crazy, so make sure you stock up on them!

Yeah, that's the problem. From a conversations point-of-view, I'd like to bring with me Shale (I do never leave camp without her in fact), Sten and maybe Morrigan once again to hear her conversation with them (the conversations with Sten about having sex the Qunari way made me laugh more than once), but it'll be a non-balanced team.
Maybe if Morrigan can be built as a very good healer I can try it, but I never even tried to build her as a healer and I don't know if she's effective that way.

Morrigan can be an effective healer if specced that way. In my experience, the effective party (and not just in this game) is: tank, healer, ranged dps and melee dps. I have to agree with others here that Leliana is the better of the two rogues especially in the beginning. I know that you didn't mention Alistair, but I've been trying out dw spec with him and he's pretty awesome at it and, therefore, would be a good option for melee dps.

I agree with the two above. Morrigan's fine with Heal, but you can give her Spirit Healer as a secondary spec and really boost her as a healer. She'll be fine. The problem with a Tank-Shale-Sten-Morrigan team is no rogue for locks, traps, etc, where Lock Bash mod would be ideal. You can do without a rogue, but you'll be missing out on quite a bit of loot (ie, money mostly).

I like to loot while exploring but it never was a critical factor in my previous walkthrough... I'm on a PS3 though, so no Lock Bash for me. I'll see what I can do... in the meantime, thanks again for all these hints and useful info, I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with character buildings!
PS: I'm not mentioning Alistair because I always used him as a tank and right now my Grey Warden fills that role.

I understand now about Alistair not having much of a role this playthrough. Actually, though, you could take any of the others warriors and dw spec them and the result would be the same. Since a warrior focuses on strength, by adding points to dexterity and an occasional point in constitution, they will end up being able to practically one-shot the enemy.

It depends how you develop your characters. I gave Morrigan basic healing spells and I never needed Wynne, for example. Those spells + poultices were enough (and I play at hard). Also it's not true Zevran is not as good rogue as Leliana. Yes, he doesn't have lockpicking skills at the beginning (unless you use no starting abilities mod), but he can do a lot of damage and I find his assassin skills much more useful than her bard skills (though opinions can differ, and again, no starting abilities can fix that problem).
If I play warrior Warden, my party is Zevran, Morrigan and Oghren.
