First of all, let me just say it is a shame that you are forced to choose between romantic partners.
Polyamory would be much more prevelant in the future.... But that is a whole different conversation.

I personally love the paragon storyline with Jack.
But there is something about Tali's voice and her submissive hero worship that inflates my ego just right.....

Anyways, I am now at a place in my save where I am forced to choose. between the two... but do I?

From
http://masseffect.wi...om/wiki/Romance :
Whether by design or by mistake, if Shepard has one person 'locked in' and are at the 'challenge' stage with any of the other possible subjects prior to entering the Omega 4 Relay, Shepard has the option of dumping the 'locked in' subject after completing the finale, provided that Shepard survives. Doing so will allow Shepard to court one of the other subjects and the intimate scene normally seen before proceeding through the Omega 4 Relay will instead play as soon as the dialogue ends. It is thus possible to experience all three partners and their respective scenes this way. However, once a partner is 'dumped', they cannot be courted again. It is currently unknown how this will affect your save game and therefore affect the events of Mass Effect 3.

So... does this mean if I just avoid commiting to any one individual, and I beat the game, I can then experience all the romance diologues and the one I leave off with will be the one in ME3?

I want to romance Jack, as the only other option is turning her jaded and having her scream "**** OFF!" every time I try to talk to her, but it seems like a much better idea to romance Tali at the end of my save as she seems to offer much more then Jack in terms of story in ME3... Which is a shame. So much potential for that character post shep romance.

Now that I think about it, I have done every scene with Jack except the paragon romp... does this mean im locked in and will be forced to either fully accept her or reject her when she comes to my cabin before the final suicide mission?
If I select "can I believe you." then "Ive had enough." does that prevent me from starting that scene later?
If I go through with the scene, does that prevent me from breaking up with her after the suicide mission and starting something with Tali?

Tali is in the "Challenge stage" with Jack, and wants me to break it off with Jack, but Jack is not in the challenge stage with Tali as I took Jack to the final conversation before the final romance scene before I completed Tali's loyalty mission.
So I dont know weather Jack is at the challenge stage or not, and what that means for my mission of romancing both characters in one playthrough.
Ill probibly try for Miranda too. But thats more for the gaming experience. Not really connected to that character.
