The hunter mode shield penalty should maybe be based on max shields like it is with missile launcher, rather than base. If you nerf/get rid of wallhack though I will hunt you down.

The trouble with the GI is that all of his abilities show up on other characters that don't really need to be nerfed, particularly the GE. If you do make that change to hunter mode, the GE should get a base shields and/or health buff.

 It's fine as is. To get the most out of the GI, you have to sacrifice defense big time. This is why the GI will never be nerfed.

It's potent offensive capabilities offset its vastly inferior defensive measures.

I usually kick GIs out of my lobbies... in my own opinion it is a class for noobs. Its insanely powerful and to deny such things is just ignorance.

My concern regarding the increasingly widespread art of trolling stems from a deontological and not from a utilitarian understanding of ethics.
 I never said I wanted to defend people.
I merely wish to question the motivation behind trolling and help the trolls, because I think their reasons for doing what they do are rooted in an understanding of themselves and their place in the society that isn't psychologically healthy, not to mention that it's socially undesirable. Although I may have to adopt a utilitarian view should trolling be made such an inherent quality of the postmodern society that actions must be taken in the form of legally enforceable rules and norms that prevent such behaviour.

And if anyone took this seriously....

Please stop using words i don't understand. You're trying too hard in something that won't matter more than 20 seconds at best.

My real motivation behind trolling (when i do it, which i am not doing now. this topic was meant to be serious) must be kept secret as the military might send out some ninjas to capture me from completing my devious plan. But right now i will tell you i do it to enjoy myself through upsetting people. It's so fun sometimes to get reactions out of people (god knows why) when they know that they are being trolled and still take the bait.

Screw being socially undesirable, the human mind can't reach beyond 7 topics at max in a matter of conversation not to forget that most people everywhere are idiots.

That said, to everyone taking this thread seriously: The GI is not OP any more than the other Infiltrators, and as it is I think they've already been balanced well enough and shouldn't be touched anymore.

Well Maybe you are not good with the Quarian Female Engineer. As for me, I am much better with the Geth Engineer than I am with Geth Inflirator.

my advice is find a weapon combination and a good class that finds your playstyle.

See, this I can agree with. I don't know about three seconds, but i find it ridiculous how fast certain setups can take down the heaviest enemies in the game. Take the Atlas, the only thing it has going for it is being a tank. Except it isn't, not when it faces the Piranha wielding Destroyer or GI.

Being in a game where a GI runs up to the Atlas and instantly melts it is for me the opposite of fun, but luckily I don't see too much of it, yet. That's why I haven't gone on a crusade myself. Once I'll have trouble finding a lobby without one though...
