I sit thru a whole match of Platinum Geth, i completely carried my team. i was salarian engineer, not only was i killing way more enemies than my teammates, i was keeping everybody safe with my decoy too. my teammates were all demolishers, which you think wouldn't be a bad combo with tech bursts and such, but they basically all hid the entire match and barely attacked anything. demolishers can do such great area attacks with grenades and they barely did didely ****.

we finally get to wave 11, my decoy is holding every enemy away from us. at this point i have like 80k more than any of the other guys. i run towards extraction at like 30 seconds left. my xbox freezes. no credits for me, but those useless bastards get my hard earned credits cause their boxes probably didn't lock up

[No swearing, please.]

That sucks mate.

Xbox sucks too, when it comes to reliability. I wish Microsoft would make solid hardware and software...

this is why in the past couple weeks i devolved to silver matches, even on ps3 the server instability makes trying to do any match longer than 20 mins a liability.

Edit even  when it seems fine, i joined 2-3 different gold matches  periodically and got dropped out of all of them

i've had that happen to me about 4 or 5 times before, but never after such an annoying match where i had to carry worthless teammates the whole time

i don't know what pisses me off more. the fact that i get nothing after a hard and annoying match or that the idiots that made it hard and annoying get all of the reward

The only time I've ever had my xbox freeze is when somebody does that stupid glitch on FBW where they fall under the map. It was wave 6, I was doing most of the work. But then some stupid teammate falls under the map and my xbox froze, so I rejoined hoping to get some credits, haha got past everyones scores, carried all of them, then its wave nine and they do it it again and my xbox freezes again... -_-

Generally consoles are supposed to be a lot more reliable hardware wise.
Course the red ring of death set the Xboxes reputation as a reliable console back a bit.
Too bad consoles are getting closer and closer to regular low end computers.
And with that territory comes the annoying bits like installation and regular crashing to desktop because you happened to sneeze at the screen.

Too bad for you OP take a break, punch a wall, break a hand, go to a hospital, meet a hot nurse.~

PC ftw.

I wish it was atleast as stable as 360 is. Feels like I have to jury rig things to make it work sometimes. Heh.

But atleast you can do that with PC, without having to take it to Xbox Warranty service. So I guess it is better.

Something similar happened to me a while ago. Well... not exactly similar.

I accidentaly pressed the power button and turned off the console during a match. I was trying to plug in the controller recharger, and my finger accidentaly brushed over the damned thing. WHY DOES THAT BUTTON HAVE TO BE TACTILE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

mmm...~ PS2 Controller... *droooools*
PS1 and PS2 were and still are amazing consoles.
They can both take a tumbling off a flight of stairs and still be operational.
Especially the PS1 that thing can take a nuke.

I love how this turned into a system debate. At least it has remained civil so far.

to OP: sorry it does suck when that happens.

It's not the Xbox. Mass Effect 3 is the only game that freezes, for me at least.

Eeeerm. If you froze them the chance is it was host migration JUST before extraction so they lost everything.
