Try your falcon to apply ammo effects and stagger enemies. Ammo effects will set up combos and the stagger will let you keep chucking grenades around. Scorpion is also good for the stagger.

Revenant is also nice on the demolisher.

Harrier and Piranha seems like the ideal fit for me

I tend to play standoff with the demolisher. I use the typhoon and the valiant. Demolisher tends to be squishy up close.

Honestly, the absolute beauty of the Demolisher is she can use any weapon she wants. Sure, she doesn't add much to the weapon's output like a weapon's platform class, but arguably, she doesn't rely on cooldowns.

The pirahna's okay, but you should -not- rely on it, especially on large maps.

The typhoon's pretty nice. Immensely accurate, and has bonuses vs shields and  I think barriers, and can punch through cover innately. It's by far my favorite AR.

talon is a great shotgun up to medium range, and has bonuses vs shields.

Scorpion is fun provided you're not shooting at a fast moving target.

Valiant is an excellent sniper rifle that's forgiving.

Geth Plasma shotgun can hammer an enemy at most any range.

Falcon is a versatile stagger machine that's able to deliver ammo powers excellently.

The revenant is okay though it's accuracy is probably the worst in the game at a distance.

The Tempest might be a surprise for you as it performs well and keeps cooldowns low.

Acolyte might be helpful, and also helps keep cooldowns low unless it's not paired with an SMG.

Harrier, Pirahna, Scorpion, Reegar, Claymore, Falcon, Hurricane.

Scorpion+ Harrier/Pirahna is my go to combo.

Kill or stun lock groups of enemies with the Scorpion, then toss a few grenades into the crowd. If anything manages to survive, the bigger guns come out.

Downside is the +50 second Pylon cooldown, but you can hit a lot of ammo boxes in the time or use one of those Thermal things- whatever they are supposed to do...

Once I get home I'll try the Kishock Shotgun, and post results here, although I can almost guarantee I won't be at the top, but pretty sure it'll be fun...

The Saber and Scorpion -but the projectile is what transfers the ammo power, not the explosion in my experience-
I'll definitely check the others on here, but I'll do it on my Gold test ground.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Hurricane is actually a great idea.  I'm going to try that to use up some of my smg 3 rails :wizard:, no need to worry about running out of ammo.

Harrier.....play Reactor and plant the pylon at the end of th central hub next to an ammo box. Have fun killing and grenading everything in sight. My Harrier never ran out of ammo.

I run my Demolisher with a piranha and scorpion. You really don't need a weapon for long range, just figure out the arcs to throw your grenades at and you can hit most of the map on most maps. On outdoor maps, you can seriously throw an arc grenade from one side of the map to the other and it will still detonate when it hits the ground.

Your weapons are your grenades. Take the Hurricane and spam your pylon. Don't shoot hardly ever.

Folks... quit trolling. They don't have a harrier. Actually recommend something they can use.

Anyways, I'd say the claymore or a talon/valiant combo. Claymore's pretty darn effective for most ranges, while a talon/valiant combo should still give a not totally horrible cd while giving you an effective short range weapon and sniper.

Try your Mattock X (put a piercing mod on it) and, since you don't have a Hurricane, the Tempest. Mattock will be your primary weapon at all times and works very well. The second weapon is really a safety net if you need it and helps balance your Pylon's cooldown.

Ultimately you want to keep your cooldown around 76-65%, which I know a Mattock X and Tempest I (or Hurricane III) will give. That will give your Pylon a 15s cooldown, which syncs up perfectly with your grenade production (drop a pylon as soon as you are able and you'll get 4 grenades every 15s).

Pick a spot on the map that gives you a good 75% coverage and you can sit there and cover your team or annihilate the enemy with the Mattock (to clean-up after your Arcs do their thing). If your bored, your team needs help, or there's no action you can see feel free to move if you have an adequate grenade supply, but keep your Mattock at the ready. Use the Tempest only when you need to worry about being flanked up-close (really only the Escort waves).

I like heavy powerful guns on Demolisher, like Claymore/Typhoon. But I've also come to like the semi-sniper weapon set, if you try Saber/Crusader for long range accurate shooting and grenades up close to stun.
