Maybe they're just tired of dealing with the complaints. Bioware still has a lot of people ****ting on them and they know it would just aggravate the situation.

Don't make false promises, lie and tell your fanbase they where co-creators after a game goes gold.

Wrex and Garrus are insignificant???

In hindsight, Garrus is pretty marginal. He has almost nothing to do with anything. Wrex is somewhat more important, but the fact that his major plot arc can be completed with him even being present denies him a level of importance.

So yeah, they're both pretty insignificant.

No, we're criticizing something that will never give us an answer.

And so we make up our own, synthesis.

Sadly, "Synthesis" was BioWare's monster, not ours.

Yes, but besides artistic integrity, the new answer fans think bioware is telling them to do is, "Pick synthesis"

A lot of people on here seem to be saying that Mac and Casey deserve this criticism. Okay, fine, but does that mean they're somehow obligated to come out publicly and take it? Just because people aren't happy doesn't mean that the writers are somehow lesser people for not wanting to subject themselves to the rantings of BSN.

They are fan favourites. And regarding the posting here, characters are what matters the most in Mass Effect games.(not for me and not the thing that drove me in anyway)

And I add the Illusive Man then.
And Aria.

Seriously, if I were them, I wouldn't have anything to do with you people. This community has demonstrated they aren't capable of having channels of communication open directly with these professionals. Sorry, you had your chance and you blew it. Casey and Mac were both very active on twitter until you people started making personal attacks and insults. Maybe in the future you will learn how to conduct yourselves with a bit more respect and civility. If not, expect the same thing to happen again in the future, people will stop talking to you.

When you can constructively and effectively explain what is wrong with the game in 140 characters or less, I will send you my credit card number and SSN.

Any attempt here seems to go completely ignored by Bioware.

Fans that send death threats to Mac Casey are idiots . But I am not surprised by their reactions. People tend to get irrational when they are lied to. But this is their forums. If they honestly believe that their ending is valid and the best part of Mass Effect 3 like they claimed, then they should be able to defend it at least. But their silence on this matter prove they don't have a valid defense against any proper criticism by the fans. If you can't defend your art then your art is garbage,

Actions speak louder than words. In this case, silence is the action.

They had that "interview" with Merizan, who did nothing but lob softballs at them. What a joke that was. I'd pay to see a good interview with someone asking tough questions. Where's John Stossel when you need him?

They got ripped for the endings and didn't want to face the music. Pretty cowardly actually.

Their silence is simple. Somehow, the original ending leaked on Youtube. They want to avoid negative press. Having a town hall meeting with ME3 players yelling at them wouldn't look good. They've put Casey and Mac into cryo, so to speak.

TIM is actually prety important, seeing how he runs the main antagonistic faction in ME3 (because face it, Cerberus has far more facetime than the Reapers), and how both of the sequel titles were possible because of him and the Lazarus project.

But yeah, Aria isn't too important either except for telling Shepard where to find Mordin.

I thought Casey had lost interest in the series after I read Mass Effect Deception. He tweeted before release how good it was on his final review.

As you all know it was full of major plot holes and barely kept continuity with the lore of the ME series.

Why would artists not stand up to any and all criticism and defend their work? Better yet, why do those you created Commander Shepard not Stand and Fight.

It is cowardly to an extent, but that what the media has done to our culture. People who didn't technically do anything wrong have to go in cryo, to avoid negative publicity, and occasionaly death threats. It's sad really, but thats the state of the world nowadays, especially in America. You can't even say Jeremy Lin has a "******" in his armor without offending people, at least in America.

Wait, exactly what have Hudson and Walters done that isn't "wrong"?

There was alot of good in ME3, no ones doubting that. But they should own up to their mistakes, cos they made a few. The fans didnt just want 'clarity and closure' as they put it.
